With only a few months until the release of Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX-, Square Enix are ramping up the excitement with the announcement of a project that involves YOU! Announced today, the casting call requires fans to tell Square Enix why you LOVE the Kingdom Hearts franchise. If you are chosen as a winner, you will be selected to be a part of a filming in the Greater Los Angeles area on September 6th, 2014 between 10 am to 7pm PDT. This event also comes with an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime opprtunity... You get to be a part of the project with the official Kingdom Key!

You may remember that a few weeks ago Square Enix Japan released two videos highlighting the worlds featured in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Fast forward to today and we have a brand new worlds trailer for you, this time focusing on the Disney worlds from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. These worlds are fully playable in Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- when it releases in just over a months time in Japan.

We are still four months away from the North American & European release of Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- and all of these brand new trailers & screenshots are not making the wait any easier. It's been a week since the last maintenance. This maintenance, lasting from 13:00 to 16:00 JST on Thursday, 28 August 2014, introduced to us a whole lot of new stuff to enjoy! In a nutshell, summer event has begun, so it goes without saying that the old-school Watermelon and Fireworks Heartless have made their glorious return. That's just one of the many things we can expect to see in the game!

The trailer shows off the brand new features in the game, including new enemies and bosses like Roxas and the Monster of the Sea, “Monstro” never-before-seen cutscenes like “How it All Began” that offer deeper storylines, new playable episodes like the “Realm of Darkness” and new challenges including “Mushroom XIII” and “Unversed Challenges.” The trailer also gives a sneak peek to the 40+ new items that players can acquire throughout the game.

Imagine making out Sora, Donald and Goofy only by the shadows of their bodies, with bright eyes peering out trying to make sense of what's going on. It's a haunting yet absolutely intriguing image, and thanks to Teefury, you can now own it on a t-shirt!

After the American ESRB rated Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- for "Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, and Use of Alcohol", other countries have updated their classification websites to reflect this announcement. One in particular was the Australian Classification website where it states that Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- has been modified, no doubt keeping the edits that were in the original Kingdom Hearts 2 

Last week, the Entertainment Software Rating Board responsible for assigning ratings for video games and apps in North America gave Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- an Everyone 10+ rating for Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, and Use of Alcohol. The upcoming HD remaster collection contains Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, & Kingdom Hearts Re:coded HD Theater and will be released on December 2nd 2014 in North America on the PlayStation 3.
