Awakening?

I know this new mechanic is something unlocked by fusing the same medals together, but that's about it. What do we know about Awakening so far?

-Requires a duplicate of the Medal itself, M&B/FMB doesn't count.
-Medals that already have Dots or Guilt do not gain anything once the update comes in. Thus older Event medals and the WOFF medals are currently excluded until re-released.
-Tier 3 Medals can have 1 Awakening perk, Tier 4 and 5 can hold 2.
-The perks have a 100% activation rate, they will always work.

That's about all I know for general stuff based on what I've heard from other players who have JP Accounts.

Have you heard if you can get different perks if you add another medal? While increasing dots since you can't once it's guilted. Or are you stuck with what you got the first time?

Fusing another duplicate will allow you to reroll an ability, even if the medal is already fully guilted. If the awakening ability slot(s) is already filled with an ability, then you can choose if you want to overwrite it or not.

Possible abilities:

Awakening Abilities that affect the entire deck:

Ability Gauge Max Value+2	Increases maximum SP of the equipped Keyblade
HP Max Value+800	Increases player's maximum HP
Poison Resistance 20%	Reduces probability of being affected by Poison
Paralysis Resistance 20%	Reduces probability of being affected by Paralysis
Sleep Resistance 20%	Reduces probability of being affected by Sleep

Awakening abilities that affect that specific medal:

Ground Enemy Defense-20%	Lowers defense of enemies on the ground
Aerial Enemy Defense-20%	Lowers defense of enemies in the air
Raid Damage+40%	Increase damage during a raid
Additional Attack Power+40%	Attack again with the same medal
Attack+1000	Increases attack power of the medal
Defense+1000	Increases defense power of the medal
