Name: Lionel Cage [Cage]

Age: 22

Appearance: Standing just under six foot, Cage is a tough looking kid. He’s got a short buzz of hair on the sides and a fluffy mohawk swept forward, dyed but faded. There is outward evidence of cheap cybernetic augmentations, as well as a few piercings and tattoos. His eyes are light green. He is scarred, not heavily, but a lot for his relatively young age.

Personality: Abrasive. Free spirited. Talks tough. Protective. Short temper.

Homeworld: Aelis is a mostly barren planet that has housed human life for perhaps too long. The planet has rejected most life, leaving only carefully cultivated greenhouses as sources of food and resources. Without human intervention there is still a small amount of life. Plant and animal alike are deadly outside of the cities. Large beasts and grasping vines. Cage lives in the heart of Capital City, the largest of the human settlements on Aelis. Corruption and decay abound there and Cage’s crew are far from the only gangs active there. The upper class is miniscule now, and most citizens are law breakers in one way or another.

Background: Cage is a member a biker gang in Capital City known as the Digital Dogs. He’s the right hand and close confidant of the leader Pax. In a lot of ways he acts as the gang’s parental figure, not in authority but in looking in on the wellbeing physically and mentally of his subordinates. He doesn’t consider his role important, or even a role, but he is missed when he vanishes into thin air one day.

Abilities: Healing, Shielding.

Skills: Augmented physical traits from body mods. Motorcycle expert. Knows how to give tattoos. An acceptable leader and tactical mind. Familiar with combat, both close range and with firearms. Uses a telescoping club mainly.

Name: Sebastian

Age: Irrelevant

Appearance: Tall and thin, with impeccable posture, Sebastian seems an almost regal figure, standing above the new Chosen. His black suit, patterned with purple pinstripes, is wrinkle-free, and his dark brown hair is slicked back, although slightly too long to be fashionable in such a style. He carries a gold-tipped, mahogany cane which never seems to leave his hand.

Personality: Professional, Courteous, Caring, Straightforward, Distant at times.

Background: Sebastian has been serving as a leader and guide to Chosen for almost as long as he can remember, and does his utmost to keep them safe until they are able to defend themselves. He has not always been successful, but he realizes that no sacrifice is made in vain, if it keeps the Darkness at bay.

Abilities: Shapeshifting. After countless ages of practice, Sebastian has complete control over the molecules that make up his body.

Name: Felicia Weaver

Age: 23

Homeworld: Kjalbel is a heavily forested world, comprised of one large continent encompassing half of the planet and the remainder an ocean with interspersed small landmasses. Because of the terrain, and the planet’s lack of other resources, the main source of fuel on Kjalbel is wood. As the planet loses its limited supply, countries fight over territory and trees. Felicia hails from a large city in the continent’s main industrial superpower.

Background: Felicia was an only child, born to an unremarkable lower class parents. In her thirteenth year, these parents passed away, leaving her in the hands of the local orphanage. The orphanage was a kind place, but incredibly poor. Growing up, Felicia acted as an older sister to the younger kids, caring for them and protecting them, but there was nothing she could do for them when the workhouses came calling. The workhouses periodically bought children as sources of cheap labor. She watched many friends get taken away over the years. When she reached adulthood, Felicia was no longer allowed to stay and was forced to take employment in the workhouses she hated. From that point forward, she lived in the worker dorms, and sweated in the factories. Her years of ‘forced’ employment took their toll, and she turned to alcohol as a way to cope.

Personality: Resigned, Sympathetic, Prone to escapism, Soft spot for children.

Appearance: The word that best describes Felicia is 'dirty.' Her face is covered with a perpetual layer of filth, as the factory’s machines replace daily the oil and soot she washes off every night. During the brief moments of hygiene, the large bags beneath her dark green eyes can be seen. Her unkempt, brown hair is normally pulled back using whatever she can find. Having very few possessions to her name, her clothes are well worn, and in need of replacement. Without the grime and numerous holes, one could see that her clothes were simple and cheap. The orphanage spared every expense that they could.

Powers: Felicia can absorb energy from outside sources, such as lights, fire, and people.

Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge. Decent alcohol tolerance. Doesn't get queasy at the sight of blood.

Name: Sahara Rimal

Age: 22

Appearance: With jet black hair, and skin the colour of milk-diluted coffee, Sahara's complexion matches many of her desert dwelling brethren. Her eyes however, interrupt the expectation of conformity by mimicking the blue of a sun soaked ocean. Aside from her eyes, when not working Sahara is often overlooked due to her short stature of 5'1 and moderately curvy form. When not trying to attract customers, she wears her waist length hair in a tight braid and her preference for attire being loose fitting pants worn by men and an oversized shirt, both light in colour to reflect the hot desert sun.

Personality: Impatient. 'Professionally charming', talkative, mistrustful, easy-going.

Homeworld: Agrabah. Life on the outskirts of the big city of Agrabah is quite different from the place most know and expect. There's much more thoroughfare, many a travelling merchant wanting to peddle his wares to the palace alongside his crew or the desert dweller coming to Agrabah for the promise of the nearby oasis providing a more stable place to live. The people Sahara encounters near the outskirts are the those that tried to go closer to the centre, the heart of Agrabah where the palace and oasis lie but failed. They are the poorer merchants, the less desirable security guards, the illegal peddlers and the less attractive women. She wouldn't call the people she interacted with rough but there has been occasion where the more foolish dweller has been found lacking more then their good fortune.

Background: The daughter of innkeeper, Sahara was taught at birth how best to anticipate people's needs and turn the best profit. She was taught to read and enough math skills to ensure enough coin was being paid. Her mother ran the inn and her father was the hired sword for one of the local merchants and would travel quite often. She was told by one of her older sibling that she was fathered during one of these business travels when their mother got too friendly with one of the patrons but all attempts to confirm this have ended in lashings or no dinner, so Sahara gave up asking. Her 'father' made sure she had rudimentary fighting skills with the concealed daggers that both she and her mother carried at all times (proper swordsmanship was reserved for the boys). As the youngest daughter of 5 children, Sahara is viewed both as a burden to her parents and as an unexpected blessing due to her ability with the inn's clientelle. She is determined to save up enough of her tips to become self sufficient.

Abilities: Water manipulation.

Skills: Sahara has been known the charm a tip out of the most penny-pinching of misers. Her ability to speak with others, gather information and cause them to feel at ease does well in her profession. She's also a pretty darn good cook who can make the measliest of ingredients stretch out to a long lasting and hearty meal.

Name: Max Black

Age: 38

Appearance: With a broad build and standing at 6’5” Max towers over most. His face is similarly broad with shoulder length brown hair. His clothes are rather simple, the only thing of note would be his brown duster.

Personality: Calm but fierce when fired up. Meets a foe head on to match and defeat their strength with his. Pretty honest.

Homeworld: The world is comprised of large cities separated by plains with each city poking out of the earth slightly.

The cities are expansive both in terms of width and depth, the cities extend deep into the ground, each with their own governing agency. The one thing that connects absolutely every city is their love for combat sports. The wealthier people live closer to the bottom of the city, granting them a better view of the large wrestling arena located in the center of the city while those less fortunate have to watch from further up or watch the fights projected overhead.

Background: Growing up in the slums wasn’t easy, Max knew this firsthand -- about as well as the knowledge that the only way to get out was through sports. Staring up every night at the projected fights, lit up against the dark sky, he wanted nothing more than to be up there; his face in the stars. He trained for years dedicating every ounce of sweat and blood he could conjure to achieve his dream. The Commission eventually noticed him and picked him up around the age of 19. It wasn’t long before his name was known to not only people of his city but other cities.

Abilities: Earth

Skills: Extensive knowledge in hand-to-hand combat, can cut a promo

Somewhere, surely procrastinating
Name: Willow Grayhorn

Age: 24

Appearance: Scrawny and athletic, willow is a 5'10" Satyr who sports a chinstrap beard that blends into a long, brown goatee. He has long, brown hair and a cowlick that lifts his cut right above his left eye, sometimes putting his hair up in a ponytail or bun. He sometimes wears reading glasses, but usually you'll see him shirtless sporting some sort of loose pants that are common for satyrs to be wearing. His eyes are blue and his skin is a tawny brown color that blends into his body hair. He is not particularly cut, but he's thin enough that he can pass off being an athlete.

Personality: Unusually boisterous and somewhat devious, Willow has a knack for getting a little out of hand with his increasingly wild adventures. He almost always sleeps outdoors, and hates going a day without bathing by his favorite spring.

Homeworld: Willow is a resident of Edoran, living in the forests near the human Kingdom of Dolasar. He often spends his time around the ents and kappaents that also inhabit his land, but sometimes he'll wander off towards the Nelthean mountains for high adventure. The place where he lives is a forest canyon that sports a river, and he lives in a cave underneath the waterfall that sources the river.

Background: Willow, being somewhat mischievous and self-serving, was a robin hood-like character in his own world - that is, if robin hood did not have any sort of overarching goals or allies to support him in his quest. He has always had friends around, but none of them were worthy enough companions to join him on his quest to steal from the rich and benefit his life. He grew up alone in the forest, unaccompanied by his mother as she had passed away and abandoned by his father after his father died defending Gravinka, a nearby town in Dolasar. He's lived ten years in the forest now, and has since learned to provide for himself by watching how the ents and the dire wolves hunt.

Abilities: As soon as Willow entered the white room, his chest hair started singing as he let out a horrible cry of anguish. The mark left there was a raised scar glowing a supernatural red color, which was the mark of the Totema. After several minutes where he nearly blacked out, Willow let out an anguished cry and received a power from the Gods: the power to get what he wanted, or the power to save the ones he loves. He'll have to figure out what he's going to do with the power of a God before the God decides for him.

Skills: Willow is a skilled pickpocket, and he is particularly good in the art of invention. He can spin a tall tale of any length at any moment. He has an odd knack for being able to effectively mimic and redirect any organized strategies his foes use in battle, and he uses this ability mainly to get the upper edge when he's trying to escape after stealing a priceless artifact.

Same here please and thank you.

The first post should contain more information but I can put some of the basics up. It was sort of intended as a bit of 'reunion tour' for the old RPing group, so I didn't put much in the OP.

The plot will be pretty simple, especially if you've read the Pendragon books. You guys are torn from your home 'worlds' which are pocket realities and enlisted in a multidimensional battle for territory between two beings called the Light and the Darkness. Every world that exists falls under the domain of one or the other based on how much 'light' (essentially law, order, happiness, justice, etc.) that it 'produces' or Darkness (essentially pain, injustice, hate, etc.) it 'produces'.

You guys get sent to worlds that are nearing a shift that could push them either from Light to Darkness or Darkness to Light and you are meant to win the worlds over to your side. It's an endless cosmic balancing act, essentially. You'll be waking up in the White Room, where the 'Chosen' of the Light are briefed on their new duties.

Thank you for the info, now I have a better idea of how to work my character.

Drollive will be posting the main thread of the RP today, as he will be playing the "Handler" of our group, so it made the most sense to have his character explaining things. You are still free to join in after the post is made, so everyone still working on characters don't worry. We will be doing character introductions and a little RPing in the "White Room" for a bit still, and even if you miss that deadline it is perfectly acceptable for you to be added after the story has started in earnest.

Well, our intros are basically the same, but I guess that's a risk you take when you write it weeks beforehand, assume it'll be good, and copy/paste it with no adjustment.
