Making Terra's armor for a 20th anniversary convention in march. I've got a bout half of the pieces printed with about third completely finished. I vacuum formed the visor and ready to dye it. I'm still waiting on a custom ordered undersuit, just hoping it's ready in time. I'm also having issues with my 3d printers so I'm hoping can get those issues resolved so i can print the rest of the pieces. This is the progress I have so far.

if anyone want to print their ow they can get my files below. I also made Aqua's armor and after MANY requests, I'm also working on Ventus.

Gasp, that is so cool! Man, 3D printing has made cosplaying complicated costumes a reality for so many people. I can't imagine how I'd react walking down the street and seeing someone in full Lingering Will armor.

Though the question remains, will the wearer be able to do all of the flashy stuff like aerial cuts and punching people square in the gut?

I can trip over thin air, does that count?
Kind of, also major props if you make a weapon based around some of the keyblade transformations in the battle. I know some of them might be impossible, but when he transforms it into a gauntlet of sorts, that might be kind of simple? Either way it looks good so far.

Holy that looks amazing, I might actually want to try making it myself, is it just as simple a process as inputting the design into the 3D printer and that's it?

it take some knowledge as far as how to cut models to fit your printer and figuring out the best orientation to print, but its easy to find inforation for that online. Anyone can print this armor.

Went to RTX Austin this weekend and got to wear my armor again. I also finished the Ends of the Earth keyblade. The even was So much fun. I got stuck in one place for close to an hour just getting pictures taken with me. I also got to take pictures with Blaine and Jack from Rooster Teeth.

Yeeeah, this is insane. Excellent work! I don't know much about the process. How heavy is this stuff? What materials did you use for the main set and also the glass-like visor / pauldrons?

Ugh, so cool. I love it!

Thank you. The armor pieces were 3d printed out of PLA plastic. the armor is really light, except for the keyblade which is actually pretty heavy. I vaccum formed the visor out of a clear thermoplastic and then tinted black with fabric dye. If you go up to my first post i have a video showing most of the process. The pauldrons and other pieces were painted black with a couple layers of gloss finish.

At least the keyblade being heavy is pretty accurate, certainly seems like the LW needs to put in a lot of force to move it around. It all looks so solid, I'd buy it.

Wow, the level of detail is impressive. Also, really clean looking. I don't really see any faults. It reminds me of one of those "company funded professionally made" cosplays. Good job, Shadow!

Thanks for elaborating. I saw this at work and couldn't watch the videos. Pretty impressive how the helmet, pauldron and forearm protectors all look the same even though they are made of different materials.
