Anyways, I made it to the last gym, but my stupid control pad makes my game character move on his own. I always break the ice and always have to start back at the beginning. I am looking into getting my 3DS fixed and I did try to fix my 3DSXL, but I think I might have screwed up with it.

You could always try that or do what I did and buy the requested Pokemon off of Ebay. Of course, you have to wait for the person who put this Pokemon up for sale to give you his friend code and trade you. Level 100 Lugia and HO Oh Pokemon XY Oras | eBay I found this on Ebay.

I am probably going to save up for Alpha Sapphire next and if I can, possibly temporarily trade you a Lugia and the other legendary beasts.

Maybe, you can ask somebody to temporarily trade you a legendary that way you can fill up the Pokedex.
