I may be wrong but isn't the journal which is digitised the one used in KH1 through to Chain of Memories. In which case its not unreasonable to think any of the worlds in those games could potentially be used as episodes.

Makes you wonder what kind of tone coded will end on - if it is setting up KH3 in a way thats being described here you can only surmise that its gonna be a negative or pyrrhic victory at the end of the game.

I think theres something to this, if heartless definately weren't around in BBS and since everyone still had degrees of darkness in their hearts there has to be a reason that heartless didn't consume hearts. Perhaps this might be an interesting line of thought: every world has a heart (true)...
