The new guy in the trailer is a young Master Xehanort. Not a young Terra-Xehanort.

We'll probably see him again. He did appear in the KH3D TGS trailer and he is the current form of Master Xehanort.

But Ven had to connect his heart with someone because his heart wasn't functioning, Vanitas on the other hand had a heart that were functioning and didn't need to connect to someone.

They do look kind of similar. And also, after Riku got his hair-cut he got a spiky end on his hair similar to Young MX. Now he just has to let it grow out.

I've believed for a while that the brown cloak was Ansem's Heartless form. But those battles took place inside Riku. No one but Riku could see Ansem. It was a struggle inside him. Ansem was defeated by Sora while using Riku's body. Riku got his body back with a damaged Ansem residing within him.
