Okay here we go. This is where you post.
_______________________________________________________________________________

Lucian sat on the edge of the roof staring down at the people killing each other. He never though he would watch as the world ended on the roof of his high school building. He stood up and walked over to a teacher and asked in a quiet voice, "What do we do now?"

The man turned around and looked at the boy with a look of sadness on his face, "We survive."

Lucian just turned around and walked back towards the fire escape. He looked down it and saw something that made his blood stop flowing. The zombies were slowly climbing up the escape.

"Their coming!" He shouted to the group of people behind him. "We need to barricade the fire escape now!"

He ran around looking for something to use. He opened the door to the stairs that lead back down to the third floor and slowly made his way down. He didn't see any zombies but he still went cautiously. He found a wooden table at the end to the stairs. He slowly made his way towards it and he was almost there when he slipped on some blood. He went rolling down the stairs and he cried out as he hit his head on the edge of the table.

His vision was blurry as he tried to sit up and he could make out some one standing above him. He tried to focus his eyesight but he couldn't. He coughed, and then wished he didn't. He heard something that made his heart stop again. It was the weird groan that the zombies made. He looked back up as his eyes focused and he found himself staring face to face with a zombie. It was the principal. Lucian cound find his nail gun on his hip any more. He looked to his left and saw it laying about 5 feet from him. He wouldn't make it.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Jack went back and forth between the kids trying to see if any were injured. The ones that were he patched up as best he could. He stood up and sighed. Why was this happening now? He had just started to get Miss Bennett to flirt back. He frowned and a boy walked up to him, it was Lucian Rodam. He looked down at the kid and smiled his most reassuring smile.

"What do we do now?" The boy asked.

The question was a question that he had already asked himself countless times now. His answer was a cold one.

"We survive." He said with a smile.

The boy just turned around and walked off. Seconds latter he heard a shout.

"Their coming! We need to barricade the fire escape now!"

Jack instantly tensed his body. They were coming up the fire escape? That meant only one thing, they couldn't stay on the roof much longer. They needed to move. Jack saw Lucian open the door to the third floor and go in. He followed and saw Lucian trip and hit his head on a table at the bottom of the stars. He might have a concussion from that blow to the head. He looked confused down there.

Jack carefully came down the stairs to help him. He looked down and saw what Lucian had slipped on, it was a puddle of blood. He looked back up and saw the principal standing over Lucian. Neither of them moved for a while but then Lucian coughed and the principal made a groan. Jack jumped down the stairs and landed on the principal. They both landed with a thud and Jack got up as fast as he could. The principal was faster and was on him in a second. The both stuggled and grunted.

Jack lifted his leg and kick the principal away. He stumbled back and fell down again. Jack picked up his bat and, when the principal was back up, swung it. It landed with a sick crunch into the side of the principals head. He instantly dropped and didn't move. Jack looked back over and saw Lucian pick up his nail gum and walk over to the table. They both lifted it and made thier way back up the stairs to the roof.

Kazuma just looked over the edge of the building as far away from the rest of the students and teachers as he could get. It was times like this that he wished he wasn't as trapped, but it was unavoidable durring a crisis such as this. As he thought this he watched as one of the few survivors of the school ran screaming into the courtyard and alerted everything that wanted her. He forces himself to watch the carange as much as possible until the point that he wants to heave. With that point now reached he looks back to the other students and notices the glares that he gets from just about every single person on the roof.

Why couldn't They have eaten HIM?! He's the worst person by be left alive!

He looks away from the glares and the thoughts that were running through his mind and continues to watch the killing below them. It was only when he heard someone yell from the stairway that he turns to see what was happening as the nurse went down to check what was happening. Before he decides to move the man comes back up with a wooden table with the help of the one that had yelled. Kazuma quickly moves to the group to help them blockade the door with the table before walking back to his spot.

"I guess we'll learn the truth about the people here now."

He mutters these words to himself because he has seen something of the same nature happen countless times before. He finds that in life-threatening sistuations, the true disposition of others shines through. He's seen it countless times when someone that will always help others suddenly starts to cry out of fear and stains their own pants. It was something unavoidable. He knew this to the point that it sickened him. Adding the memories of changes from other people that he's seen with the carnage now in his eyes, he instantly feels sick once again to an extreme level. He leans far over the edge of the building and releases his stomach contents into the air. He didn't feel good at the moment. He then wipes the remains from the side of his mouth with the back of his left hand and pours a small amount of the water from his training into his mouth. He uses that small amount to cleanse his mouth of the bile and spits it over the edge.

He finally turns to the rest of the group and says, "We can't stay up here forever. We need to find a way to get out of here."

Kyoroj looked up towards the roof of the school, where there seemed to be more survivors. Woot, great, yippee.

It was hard to find any happiness during a zombie attack. Kyoroj was definitely going to go insane.
As he stood on top of the baseball shed fending off zombies left and right with swipes of his baseball bat, Kyoroj knew he would be able to keep it up for long. He would have to get onto the roof, and soon. But... it was so far! And so many zombies in between...

Kyoroj glanced down at the weapons near his feet. Almost every spiky/blunt thing he could find was littered near his feet. Which was good, as the bat he was using suddenly shattered.
Great, that was my last one.
Instead, Kyoroj picked up a small, short, but sturdy javelin, one he used himself during track meet a while ago. Ah... the memories.

With that, Kyoroj speared a few more before he realized he really needed to go.

So he strapped the javelin to his back, with a few more larger, but more delicate ones for good measure and leaped off the equipment shed, running as fast as he could the moment he hit the ground. Before he left, Kyoroj picked up one of the longer poles, made for pole vaulting. With that he could get a good few meters off the ground.

As he neared the school, Kyoroj shouldered his pole that he picked up. One use only, so he better get it right. He ran to the entrance and climbed up a tall bikeshed with a sturdy little roof, spearing two more zombies as he went. Kyoroj looked up. Wow... he'd have to jump... 6, 7 meters? Meh. That was only about half a meter more than he'd ever done. Adrenaline did amazing things to you, you'd never know. Kyoroj edged backwards and got ready. This would be a close thing. Especially with the zombies hanging around right behind him.

As the zombies neared, Kyoroj ran at top speed andsmashed the pole into the ground to leap upwards, adrenaline pumping through his veins like hot lead. Near the top, Kyoroj let go of the pole, letting it clank down onto the bike shed and grabbed the ledge, slamming into it with enough force to make him gasp in pain. Quickly, Kyoroj scrambled up and over, panting. Well, that's going to leave some bruises.

He got up and looked around. Man this was becoming one hell of a day.

Vincent sat in the corner being as non Existent as possible. Everyone was Running screaming "barricade the door !!" He just sat there not able to move he hated large crowds of people he would rather deal with zombies.

Vincent stood up and walked to the other side of the roof and looked out over the sea rotting corpses.
"why does this kinda stuff have to happen on my first day" he muttered to himself

HEturned around and walked towards his spot when he saw two hands grasping onto the ledge. He waited a minute and eventually the kid made his way over the wall.
"Great one more person" he thought
Vincent Quicly walked back to the corner he was sitting in earlierr and sat back down keeping his eyes towards the ground.

Renegade was extremely pissed after they tried to lock him off the roof... "God... why did this happen to me? What are the chances that a school gets infected by an army of zombies?"

Alex watched as people were scrambling around screaming at each other on the roof, trying to keep the infected at bay. She watched the infected as well. It was as if they were...zombies. Then she realized they were.

Well, this is a bit strange, she thought to herself. She thought back to all the zombie movies she'd seen as a kid and came up with an idea.

"What about fire?" she said aloud to no one in particular. She was mainly just talking to herself, but she had said it pretty loud anyway.

Kyoroj got up onto a sitting position, panting to himself as he looked at the chaos around him. Quite a few people survived, more so than he had imagined. And they all looked harried, bloodied, and half insane. He was probably the same, if not worse.

With a groan, Kyoroj got up and walked in a daze through the crowd, looking for a familiar face. Scraps of conversation floated by him.
"What about fire?"
Turning, Kyoroj saw the source of the voice and snorted a reply. "Yeah, great idea. Burn the school down from below us. It'll kill the zombies sure, but it'll kill us also."

Kyoroj's leg buckled and he had no choice but to sit down next to Alex. "So, what's your story?" He asked, fanning himself. "It looks like we're going to be with each other for a while... might as well get to know each other."

Kazuma looks over to the one named Kyoroj and sighs at his words. He wipes the remainder of the vomit from his mouth and slowly walks over to the student. He keeps close to the railing because his stomach still feels unsteady but he gets within earshot of the young man. He was unsure if Kyoroj was one of the few that either liked him or didn't know of his "reputation", but that didn't really matter to him any more. All he cared about at the moment was getting out of the school and making his way home. He wanted to see if any of his family was okay.

"I wouldn't say that. Japan is one of the most densely packed countries in the world. Looking at how fast the infection spread through the school, it won't take long before the entire country falls under. I'd give it a few days at the least. As for the fire idea, it's also highly impractical. The best accelerants are in other parts of the school. Anyone that tried to set them on fire would be dead before they get down the stairs. Besides, there's no guarantee that these things really are zombies."

He looks out over the horizon and sees that most of the town in sight was already being destroyed by the creatures that attacked their school. He then makes the mistake of looking at the source of yet another scream just in time to watch the teacher getting ripped to shreds. The sight sends his stomach over the edge and he once again empties out some of the contents over the edge. He curses himself after he spits some of the bile out of his mouth and empties his water container to wash it out. He then looks to a small set of stairs leading upwards and makes his way over. From his experiences he knows that there's a high preassure water hose that he can use to refil his water container and even rinse out his mouth.

Once finished he makes his way back to the group and stands at his new spot, slightly closer so as to hear what it is that they say. He didn't like to be the one to dash the hopes of thers, but this was something that had to be done or else they would all die. He knew that only a few would truly make it, and that was due to the fact that they only had makeshift weapons that wouldn't last long. If only they could get things like guns from the police or a gun store. With those, they would stand a better chance against an attack, if anyone know how to use them.

That was what the Art teacher Angela Morgan saw at the end of the corridor of the 3rd floor. She narrowed her silver eyes, seeing an adult - most likely a teacher - carrying a big wooden table towards the roof with the help of a student. A corpse lay near the two; even from far away she could recognize the blood-stained face of the principal.

So he was taken by them, too... Angela thought, as she started running forward, clutching two narrow metal objects in her hands. The other survivors seemed to hide in the roof - miss Morgan wondered how many had stayed alive.
As she darted towards the stairs that led to the roof, she almost tripped because of her heels.
"Damn it", she cursed silently, taking the uncomfortable shoes from her feet, throwing them away. That was when she noticed, how well even a whisper echoed in the empty hallways. Pursing her lips tightly together, she glanced over her shoulder, eyes wide. Nothing could be seen yet, but she could have sworn she had heard those low groans the creatures made while moving around, searching for human flesh. Or maybe it was just a hallucination... Fear did strange things to a human.
Angela started running again. As she turned towards the stairs, she saw the dead, crimson-coloured body of the principal from the corner of her eye. It's hand twitched; the Art teacher prevented the urge to throw up. The smell of blood made her feel nauseous... she rushed up the stairs faster, to breathe some fresh air.

Angela entered the roof, spotting some familiar faces immediately as she did so. The school nurse - or doctor, how he wanted himself to be called - was placing the big table in front of the fire escape. She saw the creatures, coming slowly forward to rip them into little pieces. Her face was as white as possible, as she glanced around, trying to count the number of the survivors. It seemed that the other teachers hadn't made it. Her workmates... every one of them... gone, driven into their deaths by the zombies.
She swallowed her tears. She had to be strong in front of the students. As she continued on looking around, she saw how one of the 2nd Year students, Kazuma Ishimaru, emptied the contents of his stomach over the edge. Once again, miss Morgan had to concentrate hard not to do the same.

As he came back from the water hose, Angela walked quickly to him, worry reflecting from her grey eyes.
"Are you alright, Ishimaru?" she asked from the young man.

Ishimaru stares over the edge of the building even after the scene that he had just witnessed. He looks to what remains of the two that he watched getting killed and would have vomited once more, had he not cleared his stomach of all of its contents. He then listens as the soft sounds of almost bare feet make their way closer to him, but he figures that it's only to one of the other students, most of the teachers didn't even like him. He then hears the soft breathing of the one that was getting closer and notices how it's as if the person was fighting to keep from doing what he had done himself.

"Are you alright, Ishimaru?"

He blinks in surprise as he finds out that the one speaking was addressing him and slowly turns to face the woman. He looks to the one that doesn't appear Japanese like most of the others, but also notices how her complexion was almost gone. No doubt that it was from the predicaments that they were facing. If anyone was the closest to being used to it, it was him. He's been in several fights before, some resulting in death of a fighter, but none of this scale. He finally exhales a held in breath and hates himself for having to sound cold to the woman, especially since she was his favorite out of all of the teachers.

"If you'd listen to all the rumors about me, you'd know how it is that I feel right now. Death isn't anything new to me."

He then redirects his gaze over the building and to the creatures below them all. He thinks back to one of his fights and remembers how someone was picking on his little sister. They obviously weren't aware of who her big brother was, that didn't stop them even after he had shown up. He rubs his life forearm where a scar hides under his shirt and serves as a reminder of why it is that he fights against others. But only smirks at this thought as he realizes that many of the ones he'd fought against were most likely dead by now. He then looks back to the teacher and says, "You might want to keep an eye on the other students. Some of them won't be able to handle what's happening around them and are likely to snap."

Alyx was walking out of the bathroom when the zombies arrived and in all the terror she got confused and began running. Where the hell do I go?? She heard shreiking noises and screaming from everywhere. It seemed as if everone was headed in a certain direction....the roof. "Shit....I need to move!!!" She made her way to the roof, but all she found was chaos. It the midst of running around and looking for people she felt a sharp blow and she dropped.....

Alyx woke up. People were bleeding, puking, and lying all over the place. The scene was terrible. Everyone was screaming to barricade the door. She couldn't really see anyone she kne in the crowd, too much was happening all at once. People were helping the injured, others were staring into the carnage unfolding in the courtyard. All they could do was watch and survive. There were people running and pleading for their lives down in the courtyard, but no one could od anything at this point. Going back downstairs was not an option.

Just then Alyx looked down next to her to find her bow and arrow on the ground. Had she forgotten to take it of her back after Archery practice? Some of the arrows were snapped, but thankfully the bow was intact. She slung it on her back and began to run with her bow in her hand. Maybe I can pick some of these things off? Alyx knew she had to try somehow to eliminate these things. The race for survival was on.....

Dr.Love didn't know what to do. He looked from hopeless face to hopeless face. These kids will die up here.
He couldn't allow that. These children were his responsibility, they were the future. He could let them die. He straightened up and looked around. Something caught his eye, he smiled at what he could believe was human. It was the art teacher. She stood there in all her beautiful glory and Jack was compelled to go over and say something clever but now was not the time to flirt.

He gathered his thoughts and looked for something helpful to do.

"Any one injured? or sick?" He yelled out.

Kazuma listened as one of the adults asked if anyone was sick or injured. Thoughts run through his mind of how the man might end up deserting them all for his own safety later on. He then looks to the pile of vomit on the ground now surrounded by the creatures and raises his hand. He wasn't sick persay, just that his stomach wasn't feeling as strong as it needs to be. He turns to see that it was the man that was the school nurse that was asking. "If you got anything to calm an upset stomach, pass it my way. I've been throwing up since I got up here." He then looks back to the creatures below them until he finally sees the girl thinking about trying to kill some of them with her bow and arrow.

"I wouldn't waste your ammo right now. Even if you manage to kill a few of them with those safety priority arrows, it won't do us any good when we try to run if you don't have anything left to shoot."

He then lets his mind wander off into the void until it falls upon a single building. He pushes the door open to let his mind wander inside until he realizes that he's thinking of his house and the dojo that it is connected to. This in turn leads him to remember the weapons that his family has, one of which was to be his at the end of the day. He smiles at what he sees and looks back to the girl that was thinking of trying to kill some of the creatures. "If we can manage to get to my house, we can get a few weapons for those that know how to use them. My family owns a dojo so we have several weapons ranging from a sword to some real arrows designed to kill."

What about fire?
a little girl had yelled, Renn walked over to her and said: "There's a problem with that, It'll be a while untill they rot so we basically outlast them because they are already rotting so eventually they'll fall apart and we can simply walk out..."

Kyoroj had closed his eyes and spaced out for a while. Probably fainted, but he wasn't willing to admit that. He was woken by another boy who came over, saying, "There's a problem with that, It'll be a while untill they rot so we basically outlast them because they are already rotting so eventually they'll fall apart and we can simply walk out..."

Kyoroj snorted. "They're not rotting smart one, some of them are my friends. They're pretty darn fresh zombies and we'll die of hunger and thirst before they come close to even rotting, my friend."

Groaning, and pushing back a wave of nausea, Kyoroj got up and walked over to the edge of the roof. The school nurse had called out for injured people, but Kyoroj didn't need his help. Yet.
Kyoroj limped over to the edge of the roof and found himself next to the art teacher and Kazuma, both of which he knew only faintly.

"If we can manage to get to my house, we can get a few weapons for those that know how to use them. My family owns a dojo so we have several weapons ranging from a sword to some real arrows designed to kill."

"What about the police station? We can get a few guns there hopefully, or at least find some help..." Kyoroj suggested faintly before turning away. The blood and guts on the ground floor was too disturbing for him to look at.

As he turned back, he saw a hand reach over the edge of the roof... followed by another. And another. Everyone was focused at the fire escape, on the east side. There was no one watching nor guarding the west side...

Kyoroj jumped up, adrenaline in his veins now, no trace of exhaustion in his limbs anymore as ran over towards the west side of the roof, picking up his trusty javelin as he did.

"Zombies coming up from the west wall!! Someone help me here!!" He yelled out as he reached the west wall.

"If you'd listen to all the rumors about me, you'd know how it is that I feel right now. Death isn't anything new to me."

Angela remained silent. It was horrbile to think, that a young person like him had experienced something awful and traumatizing. But she saw from the boy's face, that he hadn't got completely used to seeing death and violence.
Kazuma turned his gaze from her to the creatures absent-mindedly. Suddenly he smirked at something he had been thinking, and turned back to the Art Teacher.

"You might want to keep an eye on the other students. Some of them won't be able to handle what's happening around them and are likely to snap."

"Hm... I guess you are right", miss Morgan said, standing up straight. She tried to say something encouraging, but the situation sucked her optimism away. The only good thing was, that they were alive... But she felt like it wasn't wroth mentioning.
She walked away from Kazuma after clutching his shoulder briefly and gently. As Angela walked around the roof, observing the students, she heard Mr. Love asking if anyone was injured. That was when she turned her head towards him, examining him a bit more closely.
He had a normal body structure, and was somewhat tall. His brown, long hair flowed in the cool wind, as he walked around, checking if the students were alright. His deep eyes moved quickly from a person to another, yet she couldn't recognize the color of them. Overall he was quite the handsome one... Angela shook her head to clear her thoughts. Thinking about men in this kind of situation! She was so hopeless.

"Zombies coming up from the west wall!! Someone help me here!!"

The Art Teacher turned on her heels quickly. She saw how the rotten hands grabbed the edge of the roof... A wave of nausea struck her, making her hands shake lightly. Grabbing her so called weapons, she rushed to the west wall, starting to whack the fingers of the undead bodies. As one's head popped up from behind the edge, she smashed it as hard as she could - it groaned, releasing it's grip and falling down. A disgusting splash-like voice could be heard, as flesh met the hard asphalt.
Miss Morgan continued to hit the hands of the zombies, making them fall one after another. Gulping, she peeked over the edge. The sight made her feel faint; the wall was swarming with them, climbing up slowly yet surely. The groans got louder, as they saw her staring at them. A small, high-toned squeak escaped her lips, as she continued to swing her metal tubes. The two needed more help... The wide edge of the west-side wall was now full of those stinking, rotten hands, as the zombies crawled up from everywhere. Angela ran back and forth next to the edge, hitting everything she could.

"We need help!" she yelled after 5 minutes of exhausting smashing. Panic could be heard from her stuttering voice.

Kazuma smiles to himself as he feels the hand of the teacher and smells the air as she walks away. To him it was strange how he could find her smell out of the odors that filled the air. His tranquility was then shattered as he heard someone calling for help on the opposite side of the building. He spins around and sees that Kyoroj is fighting to prevent several of the creatures from climbing over the railings. He curses loudly and doesn't even bother to ask how the creatures got up there but then freezes when he sees Miss Morgan running towards the wall and plaing "Whack-a-zombie" with the two poles until she starts to make a mistake by running from one end to the other and still striking. He curses once more and makes his way over to the two with all of his speed, forgetting about the weakness of his stomach.

As he nears the two he skids to a stop just in time to avoid a wild swing from Miss Morgan and pulls the augmented shinai from the sleeve on his back. He looks to one of the newer creatures and instantly recognizes it as one of the school's gang leaders. The perfect target for him. With the sight of the new target he gathers his strength in his single point of concentration and swings downward with incredible might. He feels the force of the skull pushing against the shinai but then the metal bar in the center kicks in and lets the sound of bone snapping and brain tissue being crushed spread through the area. He curses at the mess that he just made so he decides on another tactic to help clear the wall. He slides the shinai into its sleeve and gets into his normal stance for hand-to-hand combat.

He thrusts his right fist forward and feels as it slams against the nose of a girl from another class. He instantly follows this punch by pulling it to his side and sending his left fist into the face of the same girl. He realizes that it's just a basic technique that is normally taught during the first day at his home, but it's a powerful move that seems to doing what it should. Before he can think to himself he spins around clock-wise on his left foot and extends his right leg to peform a spinning roundhouse. He feels multiple skuls hit his heel and even the shattering of two of them. He finally stops his spin and watches as four of the creatures fall into the evergrowing pit.

"We need to get out of here quickly. Not all of us know how to fight. Nor to most of us have the will to fight former classmates."

Dr.Love hit two zombies in the face and saw them fall back over the edge. They needed to get out of there now. He started looking around for any form of escape. A zombie came up behind him and grabbed his shoulders. He did a judo throw without thinking and the zombie flipped over him and landed with a crunch on the ground. He needed to stay alert or next time he wouldn't be so lucky.

Jack went back to looking for a way out. He saw the venting duct. That would work, and they wouldn't have to deal with the zombies too much, unless it couldn't hold their weight and it dropped them into the middle of a hundred zombies. Right now that was their safest way to go.

He ran over to one a popped the cover off. He then ran over to the second one and popped off that cover too.

"Come we can go through the school in the ventilation." He said as he started helping kids into the vent. He just hoped he wasn't leading them to their deaths.
