Times are dim, light thins as we stand still pondering
Life itself is grim, passings continue without argument

Death begins, plays a song for the world to face
Testy winds that scatter ashes of whats left to space

So many die in the passing moments when they were most alive
So many cry at the events that pass in the blink of an eye

I'm filled with tears, I'm filled with grief and yes I'm pissed
My fears of family being immortal is the part you missed

But when it's time I won't contest, but I will never accept
On so much time i've slept, but death is all that's left

Saved in memory, ingrained internally for never to be
anything less than how I remember you, ever still at peace

Rest in Peace as you watch us from heaven's seat
You've shown the feat, that we're all just as weak
