Its funny the new phrases people who can't accept the truth come up with, "POTENTIAL WIELDER" lol.

If you have the ability to wield the keyblade but don't have your own A.K.A mickey in BBS you are still considered a keyblade wielder."Kairi can not summon the keyblade" How do you know? Did you see the keyblade go back to Riku? You can not say she can't summon just like I can't say she can we don't have enough evidence to prove either side right.

Thats nice.

So I take it you didn't find anything.

Did you know Kairi can't summon a keyblade? Interesting stuff. Eh find me an interview that says otherwise my nigga. I'll wait.

Kairi's a wielder. Confirmed by Tetsuya Nomura, Director of the series himself. End. Of. Discussion.
And yes, loke, you were right, Kairi IS a wielder.

Q7: Why can Kairi use a keyblade?
A: Because she was touched by Aqua’s keyblade.

The keyblade inheritance ceremony is performed with a keyblade master touches someone using a keyblade. When Kairi was running away from the Unversed in BbS she grabbed Aqua’s keyblade, which performed the ceremony. That is why she is able to use a keyblade in KHII to help Sora.

The keyblade Kairi uses is the same with Aqua receives after talking to Kairi: Destiny Place.

Nowhere in there does it say she's an official Keyblade Wielder, nor a Keyblade Wielder at all, but she's bound to be. She's only a Potential at the moment. She can use a Keyblade, but she has no Keyblade and such, so she's not a real Keyblade Wielder. She's in the same position as Sora was for majority of KH1. Using a Keyblade, but it didn't actually belong to him just yet. But then again, Sora could summon it so the situation is sort of different, but still.

Are you telling me this is the confirmation you speak of? She is able to use one. That what the f*** i'm saying but nothing says she is a wielder. nothing says that that the keyblade that came from Riku is now in Kairi's possession. If its no where to be seen and we don't know where it went off to it's more likely it went to Kairi then the source which is Riku? That makes no sense.

I believe I was just "ridiculed" for making that same accusation earlier by loke....so

Cute but no. I don't see the word potential in there do you?

Q5: Why was Riku chosen as the original wielder of the keyblade?
A: Because he was chosen by Terra to inherit.

To use a keyblade you must have been chosen to inherit as well as been chosen by the keyblade itself. In BbS you could see that Terra performed the ceremony with Riku, and that is why Riku was able to take the keyblade that Sora used.[picture: Little Riku and Terra]

Terra looks at Riku as he performs the inheritance ceremony.

[picture: Little Riku looks at a door with a keyhole.]

Because he has been chosen to inherit, Riku can see the keyholes of the world.

Aqua chose Kairi to inherit her keyblade accidentally or no thats what happened.

Don't be stupid if you are not able to do something yet but can someday that makes you potential at it, just because the words not there doesn't mean the definition isn't dumbass.

To use a keyblade you must have been chosen to inherit as well as been chosen by the keyblade itself.

Kairi has yet to be chosen by a keyblade. Yeah the ceremony was by accident, so Kairi basically passes the first requirement now all she has to do is be chosen by one until she can use her own. what am i missing here?

Even so it's easily inferred while being a real keyblade Wielder from that statement is not. Nomura's only stated she can wield, while he could have stated that the Keyblade Riku handed her was her's and that she has a Keyblade of her own. but he didn;t, so even though potential isn't in there, it's inferred.

She'll become an Official though eventually. But at the moment, Kairi = Potential.

Aqua chose Kairi-

Except she didn't. It happened by accident, remember? The only person she ever met to chose was Sora until she realize Terra chose Riku.

No loke is right everyone. I just realized the error of my ways.
Ummm, no he isn't. Nothing states she's a wielder, just that she can use the Keyblade. She's a Potential like KH1 Sora was until HB. Except she can't even summon and had to borrow.

You know if you don't just stop and agree you'll just end up arguing forever because he doesn't care about your opinion at all.

To use a keyblade you must have been chosen to inherit as well as been chosen by the keyblade itself. In BbS you could see that Terra performed the ceremony with Riku, and that is why Riku was able to take the keyblade that Sora used.

Just one factor you aren't considering through the whole situation. Sora was able to use Riku's keyblade, but in reaching Hollow Bastion the keyblade chose Riku as it's master via the inheritance ceremony. Have we all forgotten that it takes a strong heart to wield a keyblade as well, less we forget, The keyblade chose Sora, a boy who has never been through the inheritance ceremony as far as we've known, simply because his heart was stronger. there are less obvious reasons that make you a keyblade wielder, but one thing to take notice here is that between the two not only did they summon the keyblade, the keyblade chose who it would be weld by.

Simple fact, no keyblade has chosen Kairi, Riku was originally the master of the Keyblade, but it chose Sora. So although you may have been chosen to inherit a keyblade, you aren't a keyblade wielder until that keyblade chooses you as it's master.

I refuse to agree with ignorance. he claimed something i explained to him otherwise but still holds on to what he thinks. i would have stopped if they hadn't been so smug.

I refuse to agree to something that's not true and has nothing to give it proper basis. I'll just argue for awhile then.

Nope. Aqua accidentally choosing her as a wielder and seeing Kairi wield a keyblade isn't evidence enough to prove she is a wielder. Yep.

Aqua didn't accidentally chose her though, the ceremony was accidentally activated. There was no choosing involved. The only person Aqua was gonna chose was Sora.

Not a real one. She's a Potential. She hasn't been shown to have her own Keyblade that she can truly wield and not just use (like summoning) and such. Plus, you never see the Keyblade again despite all the danger she was thrusted into, so that suggests it went back to Riku.

She's not a real wielder, just a Potential. You know, kind of like how Sora was in KH1 'till HB.

Because what Donald says is law. Just because he said that doesn;t mean anything. Besides, do you really think he would say "Oh you were alright for a beginner!" to Sora's would be love interest that isn't Riku?

Also, all she did was smack like two or three Heartless and that's all. If she did anything off-screen and they try using that, it would just be plain retarded. Plus, I don't see what that would really have to do with anything to be honest.

It doesn't really matter if you have skill or not really. its just the fact that Riku gave her a keyblade to use, that she was able to because of an accidental ceremony, but has yet to use her own relatively means she is a potential user who will someday wield her own keyblade that chooses her and join Sora and co in their fight against all that is evil and what not...checkmate.

Yes, Kairi is a potential wielder. Though she is more of a potential wielder than what Sora was. She has fufilled all the requirements needed to become a wielder, even though on accident, except have the Keyblade chose her.

The only thing Sora did was get a stronger heart then Riku at the right time. Then when Riku took the Keyblade back in HB, he only got a stronger heart than Sora's, than later on Sora took it back because he got a stronger heart with his 'My Friends are My Power' speech.

Sora never did anything so get the Keyblade except have a strong heart and have the KK choose him.

Kairi has a strong heart & performed the inheritance ceremony. If a Keyblade Chooses her, then she is more a Keyblade wielder than Sora.
