358/2 Days Boss Battle

Just an idea I came up with... what if you had to fight Xion at the end of the game or better yet Riku and Xion like lets say Xion is trying to leave and she asks Riku to help her do it. Soon after Org. 13 finds out and tells Roxas to go after her. Then, Roxas finds her, they meet up say some stuff and the battle begins.

The final boss is going to be just Riku. I thought that was pretty much certain if not already confirmed.

Probably you get so owned when fighting Riku it becomes like the end of Crisis Core where you take on the army and have to die, something like that.

Unless they change the canon, Riku grabs Roxas as soon as he transforms and doesn't let go until he passes out. If they wanted to do a Crisis Core-type ending, the last bit couldn't be a battle - it'd be a "press A to stay alive" bit (something like the reaction commands against Xemnas' light beams) where you'd eventually lose no matter what.

(Besides, Days seems to have limited healing, so any fight that felt like being outclassed would be over way too quickly)

Yeah Riku=last. Maybe you fight Axel as well. In that scene where he says the Organization will destroy Roxas, Axel could go after him and fight?

Well Nomura confirmed that most missions were optional in the story mode, if those are anything like the ones in Crisis Core then there'll be plenty of really high level enemies.
