I was playing a bit today with recent technologies in the domain of upscaling and I found this amazing tool that allows to upscale images using artificial intelligence:
As I was eager to test it, I decided: let's see how it behaves on an image from Re:Chain of Memories which is notorious for its low resolution cutscenes.
And look at the results:

Okay it took 2 minutes for one image and there are some artifacts. But with this technology, it wouldn't be impossible to remaster old games whose source code has been lost and make it look nice and fresh. just wanted to share this as I find the technology behind it awsome. Actually, it's the same that is used in Crisis Core Reunion to upscale the FMV.
