Am I the only one who's really feeling strange and confused by now ?

Today is 8th of March of 2015 and we still don't have an annoucement of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD ReMix... and it's quite strange since KH HD 2.5 was announced a month later of the launch of HD 1.5

This weekend was the PAX East and there has been a few announcements about Final Fantasy XV but no Kingdom Hearts announcement was made...

I mean, it's not like i'm desesperated to see DDD on my PS3 or PS4... ( I would like to see it finally in Spanish and Italian ) but this silence...this silence is quite strange and when a developer is not talking, many things can be happening inside the team.

Hell, the game indeed is in development... ( the ones who've finished 2.5 and have seen the credits know ) ... just we don't know whether it will come to PS3 or PS4 or it will come bundled with 1.5 & 2.5 for the PS4.

What do you think ?

No, it's not. All the high-res models from 2.5 and KHX confirm is that they... made high-res models for 2.5 and KHX.

Can 3D HD even be done? Doesn't it rely too heavily on the second screen? Unless we're talking cutscenes, or unless it'd be for like, the Wii U.

Somehow I don't feel like it was put in 2.5's credits for any other reason than to just be there. As the most recent title I don't think it's going to be getting a remaster for a while, if at all.

Not really. All of the on-screen stuff was really gimmicky and a lot of it you could probably do with say the touchpad on the Dualshock 4 or just use a button command. Literally nothing in KH3D can't be done or changed to fit a console's functions.

Yeah, I can see a lot of the touch screen stuff in the original version being replicated pretty easily with the PS4's touch pad or even analog sticks.

I'd say that the silence regarding a remastered KH3D might simply be because the dev team wants to focus on getting KH3 done. It was said in the past that they had to work on the PS3 remasters alongside it, and are probably rearing to finish it up rather than prolong development.

I'm hoping they'll release a playable version with 358/2 Days but obviously they'd have to alter the touchscreen elements which shouldn't be too much effort. Basically I just really want to be able to play Days in HD.

At worst, I hope they have a story summary for DDD with KH3, tho yes I got it on the way (and went and got the demo so I could see what the controls are like)

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake tho. ^^

I think its is possible they are working on a DDD HD PS3 or PS4 version but they are prioritizing KH3. I think its possible we may see DDD HD a few months before KH3 is due to be released. What's the point of doing 1.5 and 2.5 if the game that directly leads into KH3 isn't rereleased and remastered as well before KH3's release? The whole point of that endeavor is to get the series on one console.

There's no harm in not getting an immediate announcement. If I recall, people had the same concerns with 2.5's announcement. Also, if you're worried it's too early for announcement, bbs fm was released in 2011 while 2.5 dropped in 2014, 3 years difference puts it within the same re-release timeframe as a potential DDD ReMix.
