if ansem( kh1's Ansem) is actually called xehanort
then why do the people of hollow bastion (ff char.) called him ansem then if then been there as long as he has
and he started developing darkness 7 years before the event of kh1
(according to leon)

They're referring to the real Ansem. Xehanort used the name Ansem after the real Ansem abandoned his research. Or something similar to that.

ansem(KH1) = Xehanort
Xehanort = experiment from ansem about heartless
Xemnas = ansems shell
diz = ansem

I think so.

The reason they call him Ansem is because Xehanort used the name.

DiZ (real name Ansem) expiramented and wrote the reports, DiZ left the expiraments (he was ashamed), Xehanort (one of the expiraments) saw the reports and thought he wrote them, Xehanort changed his name to Ansem.

maybe DiZ put memories of himself in Xehanort before he gave up his owrk. Then Xehanort "woke" and thought he was ansem??? maybe
