You will regret taking 3 AP classes. I'm taking two and it's a pain in the arse. But, I guess AP Psych sounds better of the two.

AP classes are very difficult and very time consuming. The test is also crappy. It looks good on college applications but other than that I'm not a fan of them.

Why take an AP course if you're looking for an easy way out? You should be deciding what courses you take based on interest, not difficulty.

the school i go to is number i 1 in the state. it is so competitive i have a 4.0 average and am still only 28% in the school rankings of my grade. 8 of the people in my school are taking 9 APs next year (the seven they offer u in classes and three online) and none of my friends are taking less than two. i need to take them or i wont get into a college. so i need easy APs so i dont look like a lazy piece of shit and i still have time to play KH2. lol thats why

How about taking some AP courses that will actually fulfill some of your schools requirements first? Like maybe AP Literature, AP Language, AP Spanish/French?

Look up what college you want to go to and see what their requirements are too. Since you will be a junior, you really need to start looking into that.

Your school has a lot more AP courses than mine did. I don't recommend taking more than 3 AP courses on your senior year (the busiest year). I did, and regretted it because it was too much work during the year I had all senior activities. I still ended up with a low A, but still :/

AP English is easy or hard depending on the teacher. I was accepted into AP English my senior year thinking it'd be exactly what it's always been, until a new teacher started teaching it. AP English ended up harder than college english by a longshot.

AP Psychology sounds good, and anything AP science. But then again, those are my interests. :3

That's very good advice. And you should take something you are interested in. AP classes are hard enough without the subject not holding your interest.

I don't think anyone can really answer that for you. It depends on a lot of different things. If you like Art History and have some background in it, it probably won't be too bad. It also depends on the teacher... a bad teacher can make anything hard.

As for a lot of work... it's an AP class, so it'll have a lot of work no matter what the subject is.

Is Art History something your really interested in, or are you just going to do it because it might be an easy A? I've never known anyone that has taken and succeeded in an AP course simply because they thought it was "easy". If you have no particular interest/background in it, then that only increases your chances of failure.

Your in middle school, you should know. AP stands for Advanced Placement. They are college level courses you can take in highschool. After you take the course they give you an AP test, if you pass you get college credit.

I suggest AP Pschology, any type of History AP requires you to cram mass amounts of information into your head and the test is a b*tch. I am currently taking AP Physics and AP English. I refused to take AP History, it seems like overkill to take more than 2 AP classes.

You're lucky. I'm already on my second AP history class and I hate history with all my will.

I hope you're joking. AP classes are not necessary to get into any college. AP classes just gives you a head start into collge. If you pass the test their is a chance that the college will accept the credit points and you won't need to take it in college. But the good colleges like Yale only accept grades of 5/5.

I'm taking 2 AP classes next year, and yes, it is becasue I'm lazy. So what.

That is not true. I can already tell you the majority of students at my college have never taken an AP course during High School at all.

Let's assume you don't take AP courses but you are smart enough you could have. If you do well on the ACT/SAT, that score will make up for it no matter what. Colleges don't look at AP courses as much as they look at the ACT/SAT score. That is what they focus on.
