Avatar/ pic help

If this is the wrong place to post, I'm sorry. I'm trying to get a avatar or profile pic, but whenever I add one, even if it's small, it says that it is too large What should I do? I've tryed several different ones, but to no avail. Please help.

Avatars have to be 80x80 I think for regular members. If it's anyway over that limit then you can't use it. You also have to note the 100kb file size. Open the pic you have in Microsoft Paint and resize it to make it fit the standards and then save it. Then you can use it as your avatar.
