Why is everybody so mad about Germany getting a 48-paged book with artwork everybody has already seen in the Ultimania?
Plus, I am sure there will be a generous person who scans it or takes some photos like everytime, so I don't see where the problem is.

And why don't people from other European countries just ask their publisher, instead of whining here?
After all this isn't SE europe giving Germany sth extra, it is kochmedia (the publisher). So go ask them and if they say no, come back here and cry your heart out.

If you really want the artbook that much, then why don't you import the collectors edition? The game is Mulit-5, has no regional code und you don't need to speak German to look at some artwork and artprints.

To be honest I'd rather have my lovely German dub for KH back than an artbook.

Because the European/PAL people are complaining about not getting a game.

It's the America's complaining about not getting the book

There were people from Europe here who asked why of all countries it is Germany to get sth extra (the book etc). That's what I meant.

Yeah, it sucks that we didn't get Re:CoM, but I can understand why it was not released here, so yeah... I stopped whining.

Isn't it obvious to them? To boost sales in Germany for both the PSP and BBS. Also, what does "sth" mean?

That's pretty much it.
Buying Games in Germany is very expensive and a lot of people import them from another country.
Especially now that it was confirmed, that the Game will be Mulit-5 plus US-dub, a lot of people are considering buying the game in a country where it is a lot of cheaper, because it makes no difference where you got the game from. And that's why they did the collectors edition with an artbook and art prints. Kochmedia hopes that German people buy the collector edition instead, because that is something they just get, when they buy the game in Germany....

I just don't see, why they wouldn't do something simular for, let's say, France.
So I'd rather ask some other publisher, maybe some other countries are getting something like an artbook as well.
lso, what does "sth" mean?
I meant Germany gets something other countries don't.

Games are very expensive out of the states. Brand new PSP games for them is like $35-40 but in Australia, the very same game is $70-$80.
And this is good for Germany, IMO

I just don't see, why they wouldn't do something simular for, let's say, France.

Sales could be high enough for them? Maybe they are doing it or haven't announced it? The future releases for this game is still unclear. We still have 2 months

That's why I said to ask the publisher first, before someone starts assuming things.
I really don't think Germany will be the only country to get a collectors edition. Let's wait and see.

Don't pull that bullshit. Maybe with the Kingdom Hearts franchise, but I've posted examples where Europe gets games first, and they are especially getting better collector's editions now than America. Heavy Rain comes to mind. Demon's Souls comes to mind. Your version of ICO was beast.

"our complaints are much more valid" wtf?

You act as if America wanting Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is a competing complaint against Europe not getting Re:CoM. They're both valid complaints. "Much more well-founded" my ass. Why? Because you want "harder" than us?

OH MY GOD! You didnt get a Final Mix. WE MISSED OUT ON A WHOLE GAME!!!! Americans are spoilt when it comes to KH.

Yeah, how are Americans spoiled when we didn't get the Final Mixes? To be spoiled you have to be given a lot, you know.

And yes, KH2FM is actually almost like a completely different game from KH2.

If someone just forgot the meaning of Final Mix, especially the first game.

The japanese didn't have Sephiroth or the Ice Titan to fight with, these fights were added to the western Version.

The Japanese had nothing to compare, so in the end, they got a Version which was superior to the western Version to match the waiting time for themselves + added extra with the secret boss.

In KHII the funny aspect is, there wasn't anything different in each version, I have the Japanese, the US and the German Version at home - the only thing which were changed are the "Guns" (Pirates of the Carribean) into "Crossbow - Guns" to be not so Gun-Specific or also Xigbars Special Move.

In the Japanese Version Xigbar combines his weapon to a Sniper-Rifle and shoots at Sora from a far distance.

The US made only a "spinning weapons" animation to save the purity of the kids. The same happened to the reticle which was made fantasy like, just to avoid the reality.

The Final Mix Edition of II only changed some minor things, like the Wisdom Form Mistake (the sleeves of Wisdom are wrong, there are no flames, there are the Master Form Sleeves) and some big extras like Org. XIII Data Fights, Terra, the Mushroom Organization and new Keyblades.

So in the first place it was just fair for Japan to get something better when the first version was really poor.

Most of the time the Japanese Versions get a International Version which is only a match up to the Western Version, but sometimes they also get added content.

And for the final word:

We get some new things in BbS which wasn't included in japanese BbS - so this means they could get a match up, or even a Final Mix with even MORE extras!

And yet we get plenty of things to compensate for that.

I think your over-exxagerating "Completely Different" thing like Re:Coded compared to KH2 Final Mix + that just got crown stickers, Terra boss, Organization boss, and new keyblades are just about as close to what were getting in Birth by Sleep as additional content.

Whats the French publisher? Isn't it the same for them all?
I am not sure.
Isn't it Square Enix Ltd for the UK and other countries? Dunno about France. I checked kochmedia.fr and kochmedia.it, but I havn't found anything... (amazon.fr says Square Enix)
Kochmedia publishes most of the Square Enix games in Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc. (The Final Fantasy series for example...)

So yeah, maybe it IS just the publisher...

dude, didnt nomura state in one of his interviews that the chances of a japanese re-release with more stuff was doubtful because the the japanese gaming community wouldnt be able to handle the difficulty of the extra boss and new features

Final mix for KH2 fixed up the censors that were put for the US/EU release. If that warrants a FM than I would be mad. S-E should have release FM+ there was no excuse. FYI people here do buy remake games with extra content cough*HALO*cough and they could have just labeled it a directors cut and market the crap out of th egame and it would have sold alot here. Because people aren't very smart in the states. And don't use RE:COM as an excuse why S-E should never release a FM here in the states because S-E never even marketed the game. That being said now that the PS3 is out and the rumored PS2 catalog on PSN. Maybe S-E can finally have the chance to localize the FM games and not spend as much money to do so. It is super cheap, the new scenes in KH2FM+ already voiced for days and so forth.
