Storyline:
War has broken out as Hueco Mundo marches too destroy Soul Society, The Shinigami ready themself for the battle of the lifes, who will add the Shinigami too stop the Arrancar who poor though the gates of Hueco Mundo into Soul Society.

Name: Shouten Nai
Age: Appears to be 15
Gender: Male

Appearance:

Shouten is tall and lanky with his muscles not being large opting for a lean look. When not in his shinigami garb, he wears a simple loose black sweater going for a casual look along with a pair of leather slacks with a few pockets here and there. He mostly wears slippers during those unbearably hot months but he usually uses a pair of black and white sneakers. His face is slightly angular at the jaw. His purple hair frames his face with a part of it covering the majority of his right side. His empty eyes unnerve several people with the blank look. With everything else, he is always seen with earphones due to his obsession with music.

Personality: Quiet and empty. Shouten isn't the one to head into battle recklessly. He doesn't pick fights unless provoked.

Alliance: Neutral

Abilities: (I'm not really sure. Could you define it or send me a link of existing Bleach techniques?)

Vizard Mask Appearance: Shouten's mask is completely devoid of colour except for the blotches of black on his right side. There are two eyeslits outlined with red lines. The only other thing which makes it stand out is the demonic skull shape it produces complete with two horns with red tips.

Zanpakuto Name: Thanatos

Zanpakuto Sealed: It looks like a normal katana but it is several inches longer close to that of a masamune. It's handguard is shaped like a small skull with the blade protruding from it's mouth. It's hilt is white covered in black bandages in random areas.

Zanpakuto Bankia Name: Tears of Thanatos

Shikai Release: When released, his zanpaktou merely grows longer to the extent of a masmune. The hilt grows longer as well. The handguard changes into larger skull with four eyes signifying the release of the zanpaktou. And the last distinguishing feature of it, is the chain of skulls at the end of hilt.

Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities:

1) When in Shikai, Shouten can shoot out several waves of black reiatsu which differ in size and speed depending on the swing.( Like Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou)

2) When Shouten stabs the enemy, he is able to make the enemy's reiatsu implode on him/herself.

Incantation To Unlock:

Shikai - Obliterate life....Thanatos.
Bankai - Destroy the paradise which is Heaven...Tears of Thanatos.

Bankai Release: From the masamune, his blade dissapears into nothingness which slowly forms itself back into 2 black scythes with one blade shaped like a demon's wing while the other is shaped like an black angel's wing. It's handle are colour opposites.

Zanpakuto Bankai Abilities:

1) Disruption - When released, it is able to rip apart the enemy's reiatsu making it unable to form and such. Useful for cancelling kidou and reiatsu based techniques.

2) Dying Will - When Shouten is in critical state, he is able to transform into a being of darkness which is when he fuses himself with his zanpaktou.

3) When released, his speed is increased tremendously.

History:

A student in Karakura town. He was just taking a simple walk down a road after exiting a nightclub. He was too preoccupied with his music when he saw a sight that scarred him for life. A sight of a black, baboon like creature ready to eat what looked like a ghost. He didn't really know what to do. All he had done was just jump up and smash his fist into the creature's backside. It had started to snarl in his direction but before it attacked, a fist collided with Shouten's face. Soon, he felt...empty.

Only when he woke up, he found his body being crushed by a paw. A coursing pain went through his veins and only then he noticed the chain connecting to his chest. He only registered a plain black blade falling into his hands which he used to slice the mask of the creature.

As soon as the it was killed, only then he registered the fact that a human in a bucket hat was approaching him with a small smile. Ever since that night. The emergence of a new vizard came into the world of shinigamis. His name...Shouten Nai!
