Xion = Super Awesome.
I already like her more than Namine', and even more than Sora...(who I really dont like too much).
I really dont see what's so unlikeable about her though.
sure, it seems Nomura is trying to do something like pushing in a new character, but what do we really know about her so far? We don't know nearly enough to see where he's going with her. You may come to like her or even hate her even more after playing through Days.

EarMedicine, I understand where you're coming from, and I know it looks like that now, but we haven't played the game yet. They'll probably give us a perfectly good reason for why Roxas, Axel, and Riku were friends with Xion (and I think she was more Roxas' friend than Axel's).

There's also been speculation going around that the Keyblade we see Xion with belongs to Roxas, not her, and that she stole it from him.

what was wrong with the fact that he wanted to know why the keyblade chose him that was a good enough reason to leave the org.

I don't really think so. From what I understood in Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2, leaving the Organization isn't like quitting a job. Xemnas considers it a betrayal. It's a very serious offense where the punishment is death. And even if all that wasn't true, the Nobodies have it in their heads that they should stick with the Organization because there's nowhere else to go. If Roxas decided to just get up and leave, where would he go? The World That Never Was is the only home he's ever known, and he's got friends like Axel who care about him. If he goes anywhere else, he's seen as an outcast.

Roxas might want to know why he wields a Keyblade, but all the others have to do is lie and say, "We don't know why you're special. Everyone gets unique weapons when they become Nobodies. You just happened to get a Keyblade." Problem solved. It's just not a serious enough excuse to make Roxas turn his back on everything he's known all his life.

But if something bad happens to Xion, a good friend of Roxas', something that can't be easily explained, yet everyone treats it like it's no big deal, that could be the last straw for Roxas.

Especially since not only did Nomura imply Xion influenced Roxas and that was a main reason why he left the Organization, Xion is displaying all the motifs that Roxas himself had - not knowing who she really is, lacking Memories, trying to find answers that don't exist.
That would really make Roxas the unoriginal one, seeing how he based himself on Xion's behavior.

Oh, he could still hate her over it. Personally, I prefer people hating Xion's behavior in the trailers than hating her for her design, which is what he's doing here.
At least they have some sort of remote basis, which is what we all have, really.

Yes. You hate Xion because she looks like Kairi and Namine based on misconcepted parts from trailers.
I hate Kairi because of two games' worth of plot and character behavior and inter-character relationships.
Who here has the better judgement on the character he dislikes, I wonder.

I want Kairi out of the game. Alternatively, have Watanabe write her - which would give us probably either another Xion or another Namine.
