<<Hello! >.< This is my first RP here in KHI, I have been working on the plot for this since last week. I hope someone would take interest! Thankies! >.<>>
The story begins 2000 years into the future, where the horns of great apocalypse has been sounded throughout the world as prophesied in the ancient times. A titanic catastrophe befell Earth, as the gates of Heaven and the circles of Hell unleashed upon the mortal realm, with the world as their battleground. This event would be later be known as the Great Purge. Mankind slaughtered mercilessly by both the agents of Heaven and the vile minions of Hell, as both almighty factions fought for the rightful claim of these mortal's souls.
In about a few hundred years, the war would wage on unrelentingly so. The world Mankind used to call home, now but burning battleground. The war would eventually end as one of the almighty warring factions would emerge victorious. With the combined might of Hell harnessing the power of the great beast, Angra Mainyu, a ten-headed god of destruction, devourer of realms. Heaven was overwhelmed by the sheer power of the beast's wake with Hell's forces behind it, hence the almighty faction was indisposed and banished from the mortal realm for an indefinite time. As the war ended, the great beast was then sealed by the King of Darkness. Imprisoning its power into 10 signets, each signet corresponding to each of its head. These signets were given to the King of Darkness' overlords, and the last was scattered throughout the realm, never to be found by conventional means.
As the King of Darkness himself and his main forces now withdrawn back to Hell, the overlords were left in charge of this new hellish landscape that was once Mankind knew as Earth. The overlords that rule over the ruined world were...

These overlords of the King of Darkness possess great power, equally unrivaled except all of them are only second to the King of Darkness himself. And all of them served under the King during the Great Purge. They served him without question and their loyalty inscrutable. They are viewed by humans as the great deities of chaos and ruin.
Present day, with the Hell's forces victorious, the world was now made into a new circle of hell; the Tenth Circle, Pandemonea. A horizon of hellish landscape of ash, brimstone, and fire. Nothing but a twisted dead husk, once teeming with life, now plagued by evil and monstrous abominations left by the Angra Mainyu's residue.
The remnants of the human race now serves as slaves and cattle to the overlords. While others live in small, hidden defensible settlements. Majority of these remnants formed a strong network of a unified resistance faction against overlords; whose aim is to rescue fellow humans from the mercy of these demons and hopefully fight back these creatures back to Hell. Though even so, the human resistance is still far from being a legitimate threat to the overlords themselves, as they too face conflicts within. Such is the result human nature.
Other human refugees are under the rule of one certain overlord, Titania, under her realm of Qiliphoth. Out of all overlords, the Bright Goddess was the only one who was indifferent, sympathetic even, to humans. Hers is not complete domination, but a place for the fair-folk even in this hellish world. As the demons and the other monstrosities are neutral to the supernatural denizens of Qiliphoth. But if the refugees do so as to abuse the given hospitality of Qiliphoth, they are to be killed without remorse. And humans under the shadow of Qiliphoth must pay praise and song to the Bright Goddess for every blessing they receive from her.
Pandemonea now faces a new internal strife and turmoil, as a war among the overlords has begun. A battle for control and dominance upon this tenth circle of hell, and possibly the control of all 10 signets. To have all 10 signets is to have the honor and blessing of becoming the sole vessel of the Angra Mainyu, the power to dominate realms at a whim.

2. Godmoding and powerplaying is a BIG NOPE! If I see that you're godmoding or powerplaying, I'll give you a warning. However powerplaying is ONLY acceptable if you have permission from that person!
3. Keep it PG-13
, yeah that's right. I'll allow gore and such but love scenes---NOPE! As much as possible PG-13 but I'll give it R-16 at best when it comes to fight scenes and horror scenes ONLY. Mmkay? 'Kay. Just, don't go overboard, avoid getting flagged. :/
4. For now, playing as the Overlords themselves is strictly prohibited. Keep their images an enigma, use your character to describe how formidable and mysterious they are. As Overlords in this universe are equivalent to deities.
5. No mary-sues or gary-sues AKA ultra-powerful, ultra-perfect characters. Give your character flaws, let them screw up and make mistakes. Make their personality a bit more relatable. This goes in both factions! Whether you're supernatural being or a human, you're bound to encounter mistakes.
6. Activity is a must! I know everyone gets busy and that's understandable; however, if you're going to be busy for a long time and it's going to affect your activity, please let me know! I only expect 1 or 2 posts per week, but if you guys disappear for a while, I will message you to do an activity check.

The Tenth Circle - Currently the most dominant of Pandemonea, consists of various heteromorphic and inhuman species. From vampires to demonic abominations, the Tenth Circle easily rule over the land. They will hunt or eat any human on sight. All of them serves under a different overlord. And as of now, all overlord factions, except the Qiliphoth, are at war with each other. Humans affiliated with the Tenth Circle serve the role of either a slave or assistant to their demonic masters, more often demonic cults are comprised of corrupted humans, seduced into servitude in exchange for false hopes, such as freedom, power, or knowledge.
Realm of Qiliphoth - coinciding supernatural races of the Tenth Circle. Denizens of Qiliphoth consist of spirits of nature, fair-folk or "Faeries" as humans like to call them, and other sentient elementals. Qiliphoth is a hidden realm, away from the deadly gaze of the Tenth Circle and even Hell itself. This hidden realm also serves as a gateway towards multiple destinations on Pandemonea, formerly used by the forces of Hell during the Great Purge to traverse around the world, laying ambushes against the agents of Heaven. Qiliphoth is currently has a neutral stance upon the war of the overlords. Fair-folks that had fallen into the Tenth Circle's influence are called the Fel-folk, familiars of powerful Dregs or high-ranking demons. Human refugees serving under Qiliphoth are granted nature sorcery magic by the fair-folk. Only to be used against those who threaten their realm, and never to be used in aggression.
Human Resistance - Remnants of the Human race. Survivors of the Great Purge. They live in hidden settlements and fortresses. Fighting a seemingly losing battle against the Tenth Circle. Though in most occasions, they are united but there are still rogues and bandits and even demon-worshiping cults among them who take advantage of the unity they worked so hard to establish. They are armed with technology and weapons from the past millennia. From firearms, melee weapons, and even angelic weapons that were salvaged from the remains of fallen agents of Heaven. Some of them are also capable of magic but to a intermediate degree at best. Using witchcraft or wiccan magic against their adversaries, though these individuals are largely frowned upon by their fellow men.
