Coded is Stupid

Nomura continues to create kingdom hearts games which basically mirror the first one. first he did it with COM, then desided to remake it and make RE:COM, and then Coded and then decides to remake that too. Im getting sick of playing as KH1 sora and going to the same Disney Worlds over and over again. even Days had the same worlds weve seen a thousand times. I know he wants to save other Disney Worlds for future kingdom hearts titles, but this is getting rediculously repetitious. So guess what, he decides to create Re:Coded, a attempt at remaking a terrible japanese cell phone game, where you play as a Digital KH1 sora and fight stupid Blocks. that just represents the word Retarded. Nomura needs to step it up and make KHIII. i understand hes making Versus, but even that seems kinda of pointless. why make a game with the same title as FFXIII, add the word Versus and make it have nothing to do with the previous game. It doesnt even take place in the same universe. Seriously Nomura think before you make a game, dont just make some random game without thinking about it.

Re:Coded presents information that will be in KH 3. Also, it has hints at 3D which is going to be an important game. It's not "retarded".

Also, Verses does take place in the same universe as Final Fantasy XIII I believe, but this isn't the time to talk about it.

Nomura is making these games to easy the wait for KH 3 while he finishes Verses. Once that game is done, KH 3 will start.

Im not talking about the plot, im talking abou the presentation. of course KH:ReCoded is important to the plot of 3DS, and KHIII but it deosnt mean it has to be made the same way. Im talking about the fact that your playing as KH1 sora, and going to the same worlds from previous games. thats retarded

they had to do it that way.
They digitalize the journal which contained Sora's first adventure. So everything in that data world is basically the crap from the first game. Wouldn't make sense if they had to go and find something in the past using current Sora and new worlds.

It doesnt even take place in the same universe.

Actually I'm pretty sure it does. It just won't really be that connected to XIII outside of some general lore.

It's kinda the way Final Fantasy has always worked. There are a few FF games that have direct sequels but for the most part they are all self-contained.

But uh guys, it doesn't really matter if there's a plot reason for it: going to the same worlds over and over and over again *is* getting kinda annoying, and they should probably stop doing that.

they didint have to do that way. they could have easily changed the plot by not even involving Jiminys Journal. You could have played as KH2 sora being sent to the Realm of Darkness trying to find clues to what the message ment. they could have done a whole number of things. i know my plot was kinda stupid im just saying they could have come up with something different.

New and unrecorded worlds... Jimminy (sp?) couldn't describe place you haven't been to, let alone ever heard of. It's like when nobody believed Marco Polo about the stuff he had written in his journal. Jimminy didn't even HAVE that.

They could have but I'm happy we get to play coded. Also I felt KH did have to move forward in the story.

It is your opinion, and I respect that, but saying they could have done something completely different for something that could be done one way is not really your opinion

It's quite understandable that the rehash of worlds does get annoying(never played CoM or Re:CoM so I only have played one rehash of KH 1) however this time it is vital to the story, much like CoM's rehash

Coded was called back in 2007. Lol. If anything, you should be mad at KH3DS.

Also, Nomura doesn't call the shots on what he gets to do. Business-heads, CEO's, sales, and other factors play into what he gets to make.

Maybe if you guys didn't buy so much damn KH we would have had maybe one or two games and the series would have remained an underground cult classic

EDIT: And yes, I'm completely aware that I'm a hypocrite because I've bought every single KH game, except KH1FM, so far.

It does take place in the same universe, so does Agito. That's why they all have XIII in their name, the stories are just completely unrelated.
