The only downside was lip-synching... and the lack of Christopher Lee and Billy Zane (but Epcar did improve from KH2).

Yes, I was disappoint at lack of the Lee and lip-synching, and Epcar did pretty epic, I think. I never even knew that he was a different VA until I came onto this forum! XD

Basically, everyone loves COM and hates Days or are indifferent about Days.

/thread

I love Days. I did't mind the rehashing of worlds or really anything about it. Except those few pesky missions that were really annoying, i.e. Pete Agrabah mission, and Leechgrave. GOD, I hated the Leechgrave....

To me, Leechgrave was fine. It was the Flying treasure one (the name escapes me) from Neverland that was awful. Took forever to defeat.

Oh, yeah, THAT thing. King of The Sky, I think. That thing was a butt to beat. Though I did like flying around. And in Multiplayer it was pretty awesome/easy with Xigbar. That mission was pretty much the only use I had for him, in a main mission....sadly. I like Xiggy, he's just hard to play as!

Yeah, King of the Sky. Hm, Xigbar does seem like he would make it easier, what with the gun thing he uses. I think I'll try that later. ;)

Anyway, back on topic.

It's called Ruler of the Sky.

Anyway, I'm really excited for Re:coded. More Kingdom Hearts? Please and thank you.

I agree with the orginal poster that its tiring playing clones of the first game. If Nomura loved the young Sora so much he shouldn't have made him older in the KH2! Even more annoying with Kh3D, since that's apparently a completely new plot.

Nomura continues to create kingdom hearts games which basically mirror the first one. first he did it with COM, then desided to remake it and make RE:COM, and then Coded and then decides to remake that too. Im getting sick of playing as KH1 sora and going to the same Disney Worlds over and over again. even Days had the same worlds weve seen a thousand times. I know he wants to save other Disney Worlds for future kingdom hearts titles, but this is getting rediculously repetitious. So guess what, he decides to create Re:Coded, a attempt at remaking a terrible japanese cell phone game, where you play as a Digital KH1 sora and fight stupid Blocks. that just represents the word Retarded. Nomura needs to step it up and make KHIII. i understand hes making Versus, but even that seems kinda of pointless. why make a game with the same title as FFXIII, add the word Versus and make it have nothing to do with the previous game. It doesnt even take place in the same universe. Seriously Nomura think before you make a game, dont just make some random game without thinking about it.
people like you make me sick

There is a reason why so many casual gamers have grown tired of the whole Kingdom Hearts thing already. There are way too many portable filler games in the series. Days really wouldn't have been so pointless had it been included as a reverse/rebirth mode for Roxas in Re:CoM, since both stories take place around the same time. What's next? A game revolving around Kairi? Not to worry, we will probably get one soon enough.

As for recycling worlds, well, the way I see it is that they could at least let us explore new parts of each world. I'd love to visit the Mad Hatter's tea party in Wonderland for some fun mini-games, or go inside the royal palace in Agrabah! Don't get me wrong, I love the series, but three games based on the memory of Sora's first adventure, all of them of course being sold separately so that Square Enix can make more money, is just too much and really gives the series a bad reputation.

Gameplay wise? Maybe the repetition of the game is starting to get tiresome. Plotwise? No. I like RE:COM memories alot and it being a bridge game for KH2 made it already have significance to the series. Days was a casual game for casual gamers. As for RE:Coded......can't say haven't played it yet.

The plot is interesting, but also very complicated and hard to follow unless you're a die hard fan. Like I said, the plot in Days could easily have been added as a Reverse/Rebirth mode for Roxas in Re:CoM and made available once you'd played through the game as Sora and Riku. That would have made sense.
