So I was playing my psp, minding my own buisness when my battery runs out. This would be fine but my game was auto saving at the time and my 16gb memory stick pro is now corrupted. It won't recognize it, but will recognize my 32mb one.
I don't have an SD card slot on my computer to see if it can recognize it.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Or is it simply a replacement?

Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Have your psp connected to your computer, you should be able to access your SD card from there. Just connect it with the USB mini.

You might have to reformat it, though.

And this belongs in Tech.

Sorry, I didn't see a tech section. Obviously didn't look hard enough

That doesn't work either unfortunately. It still doesn't read it

I really don't know a lot about PSP or any Sony system, but as IT expert I will help you at the best of my ability.

I says check everything, even the most simpilar things too. Find out the key point that caused your memory stick corrupted and either way, I think that you do need to reformat it. If you did everything you can, then I think you should buy new one.

I don't mind reformatting it, I just can't make anything read it.
And my computer reads my psp, but not my card. Ps3 is the same.

The only that I know of that will work is what Stavros said, just see if it can pick it and transfer everything to a flashdrive and then reformat it. (oh and I hate you for having 16gb memory stick, I wish I had one.)

Yeah I may give it a shot. My mate said he might have one I can borrow, so that's awesome.
(and yeah, having a 16gb is quite awesome haha. But I don't do custom firmware so it's mainly just demos anyway.)

So when you open your psp, you see the main root files, like game, video, music, but no memory stick? (I forget how the layout works)

Yeah it had the whole thing, but there's nothing that's on my card, so really all I can do is play games and go on the net. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't 16gb
