Sora would get owned if he was against Ventus. But as of present? Riku and Sora are getting stronger and learning how to use the keyblade better under Yen Sid.

As far as I understand, they were still weaker than they were by the end of the second numbered game. However, I think you're right in that they are getting stronger during and after the events of 3D. At the very least, I expect Riku to be at least somewhat close to their level now.

I always thought that Xemnas was stronger than Terra minus the keyblade, and Twilight Xemnas was a totally different level. I placed KH2 Sora between Xemnas and Twilight Xemnas, so Sora was stronger than Terra-Xehanort . I'm starting to think that's wrong? So if that's the case, and they are in fact stronger than KH2 Sora and Riku, they win quite easily.

I'm confident TAV would defeat Org 13 in combat. But poor Terra got tricked a lot. Do you think they'd troll him into doing something for them?

And I'm interested in how they'd deal with Larxene's malicious bullying. Sora is a pretty chill guy but she sent him into a rage, few villains got a rise out of Sora like that.

Also, for everyone calling Sora an unbeatable Superman, that might be true in KH2, but I think Nomura is trying to fix that.

Xehanort's masterstroke defeated him and he needed to be saved by Lea, Riku, and Ventus. He then failed his exam.

DDD showed that while he's the destined hero that saves literally everyone he's still not perfect and that's something I really love about the game. After Sora saves everyone in KH3 I'm confident they'll all return the favor and save him later on from New Org 13's machinations.
