Eel for God sakes you can get your opinion across in a much more constructive way than resorting to puke comments.

but that's his thing. y'all just don't understand, just like he doesn't understand 2005 family guy's sense of humor doesn't bode well in 2016.

Can say the same about you hon.

I voiced my opinion. I don't like the idea of multi-dubbing the game. It's a waste of time and resources. Maybe after the English/Japanese versions get released, then they can dub it in whatever language they want, but there's no way in hell am I going to wait another year just to dub in 10 other languages.

that isn't wasting time or resources, its alienating a fanbase because the fans who are always getting catered to are feeling elitist.

Was his original comment edited or something? Because it doesn't seem that bad to me.

Anyway, multi languages could be nice for a lot of fans. It would cost more resources though, so typically it's really about whether or not it's worth it from a revenue standpoint. Like, would they make enough money in extra sales to justify the cost of multiple language translations and voicework and would they have the budget for it? I believe KH games haven't had multiple language dubs aside from Japanese and English since KH2. The handheld titles obviously had smaller budgets and it was likely determined full dubs weren't worth the time and resources. Will S-E feel the same for KH3? It's hard to say. I guess the best guess would to look at other big budget titles S-E has released lately and see how they approached it there for a decent guess.

Personally I don't care.
The majority of the whole series is in English/Japanese only anyways (only two games were ever done with other voices) so by now I am totally used to the English and Japanese voices.
When looking at other games coming from Japan though this doesn't seem to be a big issue anymore anyways as many other games I played also have English voices only or you can switch between English or original Japanese.
Be it .hack, Disgaea, Dynasty Warriors or whatever, I have yet to see specific language dubs that go beyond English and original Japanese. Some games do not even provide subs in languages other than English.

If there's more than one voice track though I would prefer it if you can choose in the options which voices to use, as I probably would switch the voices to English or even Japanese anyways with appropriate English or German subtitles for consistency.

Ugh.
I'd like german voices, especially for characters like Riku or the disney characters. But then again, I might want to switch to english if some characters get unbearable (coughRoxascough).

Having the ability to choose sounds best to me. They did well with that in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy, where you don't even have to go to the title screen but may instead just switch in the ingame options (which really doesn't need more than a few seconds).

I wish there was a way to choose what language for individual characters lol. Like I mostly like the English cast just fine, but I'd love to switch some of them to their Japanese counterparts (like Axel)

Well... that's just way to complicated to be feasible.

I hate Quinton Flynn as Axel. He was alright in KH2 but every performance since has been awful imo. It was pretty amusing to watch this professional voice actor get consistently out-acted by a popstar in Days lol.

I think that KH is good in Japanese/English as it is. Also - and I'm sure this is the case with many non-native English speakers - I for example learnt 90% of all my English from videogames and manga. Heck, I even passed the Cambridge Proficiency with only playing the Professor Layton games the summer before that, three years ago, therefore learning British English with accent and all that. I gave it my whole attention so I absorbed every drop of language knowledge out of games. Nowadays everyone wants dubs instead of subs, in their native language or course, but that has this side-effect of the lazy viewer not learning a new language or anything new on an... let's say, international linguistic level? Yes, kids, play video games, learn English
Hearing the current dubs we have...
- I don't quite like how the Spanish dub sounds. A few times already I found rather... eh... Spanish dubs... It's the acting, nothing else
- German dubs are most of the time good-quality, I'm fine with this one. Plus, I LOVE Axel's German voice (obviously... OBVIOUSLY...ah rip great man..) but isn't Ansem's voice simply too idk Yami Yugi?? And young too? Ah... Houston, we have a problem
- I adore the French dubbbbb, French dubs are always so cute, so cute, so cute > 7 <
- I would love to hear an Italian dub though... *remembers the Italian dub for Death Note* e///////e

*cries a river*
German is great tho! I always loved how Sora is voiced by Mickey's voice actor's son... D: But Ansem err...no, isn't Yami Yugi. xD Cifer is the one sharing his voice with Yami Yugi, which actually fit him quite good imo.

As stated by me multiple times, I'd like them to just let us choose the language we want. (Especially becausy I am really more than used to the English Dub, it's simply great. The German Dub, on the other hand... urgh.)
