I'm pretty sure Marluxia's is Lumaria.

I hear somewhere that Lumaria means/is related to flowers or something of the like.
Marluxia, flowers, Lumaria. It's the same vein as Demyx and Emyd.

For a while, I've thought Demyx's name was Myde. It could be Emyd. We won't know for sure until Nomura tells us unless he decides to live us hanging.

As for Lexaeus's name, I thought it was spelled "Aeleus".

And look at what happened with Axel and his real name. :v So, their real names don't [b]have[/b] to be at all related to their elements or who they're based on.

lea is pronounced 'lay' not 'leea' n also in japanes' L' has an 'R' sound so his name in japanese is 'Rae'

I could very easily see Demyx's name being Emyd, though I always did like Myde more, don't know why.

However, the discussion is moot by now, since we didn't learn their original names in Days, which was our best bet for learning them.

If you think about it, each and every name that we have was made up at some point in time or another.

And there are a lot more people nowadays really stretching to pick out unique names for their babies, with some names made up that don't mean anything.

There's every chance that somewhere in the world, there is someone with the name Relena.

Emyd for Demyx. Why? Because Emyd is a type of sea-turtle.
Lumaria for Marluxia. Why? Because Lumaria is a type of plant.
Elenar for Larxene. Why? Because Elenar is a lighting god.

It starts with an 'E' as far as I know... Man's got too many syllables to his name. {I think that's what they're called}

Dilan and Evan are both pretty plain... The only one's that haven't been figured out are Marluxia Larxene and Luxord. Or at least no one's tried them yet... Saix seems like it's be Asi or Sai.

My guess for Marluxia; Lumiara. Larxene; Ralena. and Luxord; Lorud. Just a guess though

An Emyd is a water turtle.
