I was just posting in the envy of the opposite sex and a lot of stuff that I had posted was all true for me. And it got me wondering if I should have been a male. I enjoy wearing the same thing every day, I love the male clothes a whole lot and I like being decisive and aren't terribly sensitive. I like cars, computers, video games, saying weird useless shit and laughing at the same. I honestly believe that I should have been a male. It might be a little weird saying it to the whole KH community but there are still a bunch of little man things that I like or that I do.

So, I ask the question:

Did you ever wonder if you should have been male if you're a female and female if you're a male?

That has nothing to do with being male. That has to do with who you are. Anyone who leaves the norm of what girls do is considered a boy?

I wish I had a girlfriend who was into what I'm into.

Not so sure I want to experience menstruation. Nor do I want to get pregnant, nor do I want to go through menopause. Yeah, I think I'm happy enough being a man.

And yeah, I've never had any sort of identity crisis, so...

You know, this is more of an identity and societal norms question in my opinion. owo Anyway, my parents wanted me to be a boy. Am I one? No. Do I really care about how I turned out? Well, now I automatically am going to have an overprotective father, a mother who assumes that just because I walk home chatting with a boy he's my boyfriend, have mood swings monthly with little control over them, and eventually, be expected to birth children.

...

Let me look at the male side.
VERY awkward puberty [I feel sorry for you there. D:], A dad who constantly tries to get you interested in girls, a mother who babies you a little too much and considers you 'her little angel', testosterone levels that demand regular practice of sparring of some kind, and once you start getting interested in girls, you have the risk of being used or put on the marital leash.

Both don't seem fun. Thinking about it, I'm fine with being a girl. Sure, I don't like some things and probably won't do some things that are normal [don't really want kids] but, that doesn't mean I'd throw my gender out the window and start bawling about it.

I didnt have an awkward puberty, I dont think. It was very managable, if not pleasant. I got taller and stronger, I found girls more interesting, I learnt how to debate because of my desire for dominance etc. It really wasnt very hard.

Dad= doesnt care. He did nothing like that, Mum= pretty accepting of my new found desires and treated me quite well, I dont think I have ever been in a fight (it is easy for me to release anger with words) and I think most guys are the ones in the relationship whom use the girls, for whatever reason.

Maybe it is just me.

I've wondered what my life would be like and how I would look like if I were a female.
But thing is.
I'm a dude.

Hmm... Well I suppose I'm just taking my personality and putting it in there. I think I'd be quite stressed, to be honest. It'd be like getting wacked in the back with a crowbar, getting to the sudden realization that after all those years of screaming 'COOTIES' to the opposite sex, you suddenly want to hang out with them very often. To each their own, though.

I dunno, with that bit, I was taking both examples from behavior my parents have voiced and behavior I've seen in some of my male friends' parents. In my neighborhood, you get a dad who'll teach ya how ta hunt and a mom who'll teach you to be a gentlemen. Again, just taking what I've seen and what some guys've told me before. XD Everybody's different.

I never understood the idea "should have been the opposite sex". Seriously, what is that even supposed to mean? If you were born with male genitalia, then you are a male. It's as simple as that. The whole "should have been the opposite sex" thing is just people confusing gender with social norms.

Honestly, if we were using social definitions of male/female, I'd probably be a hermaphrodite.

Nah. I'm a male. And that's all I ever will be or want to be.

That doesn't mean I don't have some gay butt-sex every now and then though ;D

That's not gay, right? Lawl.

Nope.

Mind you, I'd like to see what it feels like to have boobs without being fat, not to mention be able to consider shoving things inside me and doing it without any feelings of guilt of being at all gay.

Nah, have never felt like that.
I was born female, so I'm meant to be one (like some other member said earlier in this thread).

Maybe for a day... Just to see how things are like...

But no, I never wished, or prayed that I was a female... Being a guy is just a bit easier, and I'm comfortable with my sex...
