If you head on over to the Final Fantasy Wiki, you will notice that a sequel to the 2008 PSP title Dissidia:Final Fantasy has just been announced via Weekly Shonen Jump. The sequel, titled Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy (pronounced Dissidia Duodecim) is slated for a 2011 release in Japan.
Only three characters have been confirmed:
*Cecil Harvey from Final Fantasy IV makes a return
*Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV, new character
*Lightning from Final Fnatasy XIII, new character
While this is the only news released so far, and absolutely no hints whatsoever from Nomura of "Kingdom Hearts making a surprise appearance somewhere else," does anyone think there's even the slightest possibility of anything KINGDOM HEARTS related to appear in Duodecim?
