I love watching a dubbed anime and having there be fantastic, talented actors' voices threading through my ears.... DOES anyone else care about the actors? Am i the only one who gets excited when she hears a familiar voice? the only one who follows the works of talent such as joshua seth, steven blum, johnny yong bosch, crispin freeman, and mona marshall? AM I THE BIGGEST DORK IN THE UNIVERSE?!?!?!?!?!

I care about Joshua Seth (and others...of course), but you know that. Don't you, Miss Pleasure?
And if your the biggest dork in the universe then we can be dork-like partners, partners of dorkism.
God I love Joshua seth...
Oh! and, I don't know about the Japanese voices.

Unfortunately, the thing about voice actors is that they're considered "low man" on the proverbial actor's totem pole. Hell, soap opera actors are more recognized than VAs. I think you gotta have respect for anyone who spends an entire day in a cramped booth, saying the same line over and over, for hours at a time. Unfortunately, because the voice acting industry in America is nowhere near as developed as in other countries, namely Japan, VAs don't have the training to express everything with just their voice that a regular actor can with their voice plus their body. It's a challenging prospect to say the least.

EXACTLY... and although some dubbing is bad, alot of it is really quite good, it's something i look for and enjoy in an anime.

Wasn't Johnny Yong Bosch a power ranger? The second black ranger to be specific?

I don't really pay attention to the voice acting unless it annoys me or doesn't fit the character.

Yes, Johnny Yong Bosch was a Power ranger a one point. But, you could also know him as we do, the voice of Vash The Stampede or Kiba from Wolf's Rain.
He was also the voice of Eriol Hiiragizawa from Cardcaptor Sakura: The sealed card.

Oh, and I only pay attention to the good voices.:D
