I dont think Terra killed Eraqus. If you notice the blast of darkness, it comes from behind him, not by Terra.

Thats the real question. Erqus was set on hurting Ven, so Terra fought him. But he told Ven that he shouldn't exist, so...

That was Master Xeahnort. But technically, Terra weakened him enough to be killed.
