WATCH: Escape From Tomorrow's first trailer for a creepy and unauthorized look into Disneyland - The Week

I'm very interested in this film. It'll release publicly on October 11.

The score is also pretty damned fitting:

(I didn't post this in the Disney forum because it is not being made by them)

A daring film this is indeed. I'm interested in giving it a try myself but, having a hard time seeing it as something that sets it a part from other horror movies and the like.

Well, it's definitely not going to be a torture-porn style of horror movie like Saw or Hostel. It's more intricate than that.

People that reviewed the movie said it had a lot of David Lynch's style (which is the reason it's black and white and not in color. It's to portray a David Lynch style of film like Eraserhead rather than a home-video style like V/H/S). So expect more creepy what-the-hell-did-I-just-see stuff.

Comparing it to Eraserhead is pretty bold. Hopefully it can pull off the same vibe successfully because it seems a bit hammy.

I was trying to evaluate what feeling this trailer gave me as I've felt something like this before. Then it hit me. I felt the same kind of uneasiness when looking at the early concept art for Epic Mickey.

Saw a poster for this last month. They're really playing up that this is "the film Disney doesn't want you to see"

intriguing and disturbing at the same time.

It's already out. You can buy it on iTunes. I imagine by this point you can just watch it somewhere online for free.

I saw it a few days after it came out and I gotta say I had some trouble sleeping the night I saw it. It's not a scary film in the least, but it diddlys with your head quite a bit if the Disney parks mean anything to you.

I will say that you will most likely not enjoy the film if you have not been to any of the Disney parks or have an understanding of what they are.

I don't really know if I like this film or not. I can't say I didn't enjoy it when I watched it, but, to me, I wouldn't watch it again unless some friends wanted to see it. For me this film was very surreal in the fact that it took the parks and turned it into this awful place that I didn't know anymore.

I only feel this way about the film because I've gone to the parks every year practically since I was born, so I have a distinct connection there.

I wouldn't compare it to Eraserhead after seeing it, but it will definitely creep you out.
