Only in front of Aqua's outfit, due to the overall outlining and shading because of the polygons (which is where a lot of people focus on). Once you get the side view, it fits with the CG graphics, and she's overall the size of a Japanese citizen. Sort of.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm actually inclined to think it's because they didn't have enough polygons to render them separately (or the lack of shading makes it seem that way), which is kind of ironic.

She's probably not average for a Japanese woman, but she might be average for a (skinny) American, once you take that into account. And she's got a far more realistic body shape than 99% of animated women, which also helps.

LOL, Ursula. Whoo boy. Disney definitely didn't hold back there in the actual movie. Then again, that was the time where people weren't...uptight.

Yeah, there certainly wasn't any question about it there. XD

Though, I'm wondering if some of the other things KH gets away with would have been okay in the late '80s (like Xion).

Terra's got some pretty sturdy man boobs going on. Those pecs have to at least be on a training bra by now. Maybe he's the cause of the mild suggestive themes.

Oh my god, I watched that the other day and it scared the hell out of me. Scared me even more, because I have an evil grandmother who looks EXACTLY like Ursula from the waist up. D:

I wonder if the rater guy was just bullshitting about the boob jiggle?

I think its haliraous that they even notice her bewbs jiggling, but ok if they noticed it then there probably going to make Aqua bewbs flat >.<

That can't happen! Chaos would ensue and riots would happen and looting!!!

When Aqua is walking towards Terra in Keyblade Graveyard is when her breasts jiggle slightly.

Why, exactly would they need to program the "jiggly" breasts in? They didn't do it for most of the game, but suddenly when Aqua is back with Terra they jiggle.

I think it mostly has to do with the actual outfits as well, for the sake of making it fit the body. You can notice how each differs depending on what you wear. Aqua's choice of style can be difficult to shade. Once in-game, the shape of them has to be there, but it becomes more pronounced. Anything more of this has to be seen when we witness Aqua with different clothes one day and contrast, really.

And, well, I don't think Japanese women are always THAT kind of small, is what I'm trying to say, lol. I'm sure they can vary like everyone else. I guess I should've made it clear what kind, but I don't think I can do that well. Regardless, you got my meaning.

I don't know. I think there were more open-minded, but I believe in terms of sexuality, it has always been a problem for people in some form. I can't tell whether it got better or worse, but I think it got better.

"You'll have your looks! Your pretty face! And don't underestimate the importance of body language, hah!" *shakes*

And I don't know if it was, but it seems rather stupid to comment on despite that it appears that there are worst things to be concerned about with BBS. It's not like you would note this about Aqua unless you were ogling her bewbs. It's the same crap they pulled with Axel's suicide: edited the fire, when people would be entranced more by the light show rather than what goes in and out of the body.

Xigbar, maybe? That guy's the one to watch out for when it comes to ratings... ;)

...okay, it doesn't have anything to do with him in particular. It's just that there's not that many sentient enemies with voices in Days that actually react to getting hit instead of just continuing whatever attack they were doing.

I can definitely see where they're coming from with BbS, though. Judging by the Youtube'd fights, almost every human opponent cries out when you hit them. Unless you thought they meant something more than those standard "in pain" noises?

Well, there is her armor (which makes her look a lot smaller, actually). And I'm pretty sure her "talents" would be given far less attention if she were wearing baggy clothing, though we'll probably never see that first-hand (simply due to the nature of Nomura's designs).

Well, you did say "average." ;)

But, yeah. Aqua's figure is generally reasonable, regardless of whether she's an average Japanese woman or not.

Its a whole board that rates these games. not just one person. Mostly ppl's mothers, probably.

Well, you don't really need "baggy clothing" exactly. Just an outfit that doesn't make it possible to shade out the chest area without it looking odd. For example, you can't place the front of Aqua's outfit to the...Organization cloak, let's go with that, without having to change the rest of the uniform somehow.

Average. Small. Doesn't negate the fact that she's pretty anyway xP.

Well, the Organization cloaks tend to accentuate the guys' chests (case in point being Xemnas), so I'm not sure they'd be the best example... ;)

This is true. And there's nothing wrong with that, either.

On a different note, if the ESRB rating is based on one scene, I have to wonder if it's the work of an animator who thought he could pull off what some of the Disney animators did.

Also, I have to wonder if its continued existence implies they didn't have to go back for a second round with the raters to get an E-10, because they'd obviously change that long before they changed anything important.

The last line made me barf. Seriously, are the ESRB people that frank?

Hmm...they better not CENSOR Braig's scene where he lost his eye.

I don't think they would censor that part, I mean have they censored anythign from the usa version of KH? besides a little blood from the hydras in KH2.

i could imagine them removing the dark smoke, but then again they used dark smoke to censor the green blood for the hydra in olympus colleseum

Yeah that was it,

I don't think they will censor that part in the game, just because for one it is a important part it shows what happened to braig.

I guess they wanted to add sex appeal, without revealing too much. I mean, it's okay for Jessica Albert of Dragon Quest VIII to have them, because it's a part of the Goddess's Grand Design, but they don't need Aqua using the Puff-Puff Move on any Unversed, just to keep them from attacking.

If it was a decision made from the top, I would think it would show up somewhere besides a single scene that they're not using for the trailers.

It makes more sense to me that it was an animator sneaking something under the radar for the lulz, like the naked woman in a couple frames of The Rescuers.
