I really don't care about Axel's true name, I think he'll always be Axel to me. Although I gotta say, I know a lot of girls named Leah, so it'll take some getting used to haha.
The only thing I really care about is seeing him again in future games. I really hope we get to meet his somebody, not only in BBS, but KH3, if there is one

If they do show him, it'll most likely be for fanservice if anything. Unless they can actually make him pertinent to the story, like making use of the plans he and Saix were talking about.

I rather not see him at all anymore, in any type of form.

Seriously? How many more times?

I'd rather see his Somebody to see how he would interact with Riku, Mickey and Sora.

I don't know if this has been said but...

Haven't any of you considered that his name is pronounced "Lee"?

You know..like the words sea, tea, flea, pea?

It not "Le-ah"

Saix pronounced it as Ri-ah which in English would translate to Le-ah, IIRC.

Not every Japanese name's English counterpart has to sound the same. look at PKMN (I hate it but at least it makes a point), Satoshi > Ash, Hikari > Dawn, etc.

That's true, and there are manu series who do that. Sailor Moon, for example. But, it's not like that in Kingdom Hearts. For example:
(English spelling = Japanese spelling = English pronounciation)
Marluxia = Maaruusha = 'Marloosha' (Not 'Marluxia')
Xion = Shion = 'Shion' (not 'Zeeon')
Following that rule, Lea = Ria = 'leah'.

Kingdom Hearts follows the Japanese pronounciation pretty strictly when it comes to names. And they don't Anglicise the names, either; they didn't make Sora's name 'Skye' or anything like that.

According to your logic, SRK would be named Sky, Land, and Sea accordingly. :v

That, or Steve, Ryan, and Katelynn.

"Steve! Ryan! Look! A message from the King!"

That's because 4Kids is stupid and americanized it.

Never trust 4Kids with dubbing.

Doesn't take a retard to figure that out.

KH would had sucked if it had been Americanized.

yeah, it's lea
lea was one of the first speculated names for axel since the game release ( the first one i found, any way- 5 months after the english release)

i dont think square would name axel's human ale, considering it's a acholic drink and all (no matter how much referance there is to another certian red head we all know and love X3)

and, for those who complain about lea being a girls name, consider this-

even if lea is a girlly name- it's a hellava more manlier name than sora riku terra hope larsa and cloud...

Huh, interesting. I always pronounced Marluxia as Mar-Lucks-ee-uh. Is it really pronounced Marloosha? Granted, I pronounced Xion as Zee-on before I heard it in-game.

So how do you pronounce Saix? I think it was said in-game a few times in KH2 but it's been a while for me.
