Which one do you think will be better? Why?

Im actually plannig on getting one of these two but im not sure wich one should I get. Tell me your opinion on which do you think that will be the best!

If you want to meet up people on these forums and head into a game, I'd say FFXIV would be a better bet.

FFXIV.

SOE could ruin DC Online at anytime they like to ignore the fanbase. I'm hyped about both, but I have more faith FFXIV because FFXI was good sure it had its flaws but did tons of things great and for the devs teams first MMO it was good.

Well the graphics are better on FFXIV but I don't kno how the gameplay is. Still right now I think I might go for FFXIV

They're two different games. The only similarity they have is the MMO factor. Other than that, this is like comparing Pokemon to God of War.

Now if you want specifics, like which one do you think will have better graphics, which one do you think will have more players, etc. Then feel free to ask away. I plan on playing both.

I was actually more excited for DCUO than FFXIV when I had scene the website for it a while ago. When the actual gameplay and game screenshots actually appeared, I went from "OMG HARLEY QUINN AND POWER GIRL AND ZATANNA!" to "Oh.".
So at this point, FFXIV by far. Although, I still might buy DCUO.

Well in MMOs gfx don't matter that much. For Gameplay DC Online is going to be more of action type MMO when it comes combat.

DC Universe online will be better.

It comes down to a personal choice. I'm a comic book fan and DC universe appeals to me more than than another FF.

In terms of quality, Final Fantasy XIV is better just at face value.

But yeah, I have no interest in DC other than the new Batman films are pretty cool.

The developers trailer for it didn't seem very promising.

I'm gonna try for both, but I'll probably buy DC Online first. Not because I like DC more than FF or anything, but because to me it looks that they're finally putting in a decent effort again for DC games.

well we don't have much info but I guess FFXIV have turn-based gameplay so I start with DCUO and buy FF XIV later. I just want the games because there's so fju online games out there which is not shoters

Well I found a recent interview on FFXIV that says that the gameplay on alpha beta was slow because of the action bar but that gameplay won't be used on the actual game they will change it to a completely new battle system, which is much more fast passed, in the closed beta which is really exciting news to me. I hope its preatty fast alittle like action.

Yea I saw some of them and the attacks were a little slow :/ but that gameplay will change to a much faster one in the final product I think if the gameplay is faster we will have less grinding.
