he probably does; just kingdom key and he doesn't really need anything else to thrash his opponents.
you can beat the game with just kingdom key. but when he goes into drive forms, I dont think the keyblades split but he's using mickey's darkside as a mediator for his second key.
just take note of these pictures I found:

Kingdom Hearts Ultimania - Image Viewer

Mickey can use keyblades from both realms because he had experience while sora can only do it in driveforms, he's still too young and can only use one and change its forms. Its still odd though

Yes he does. He splits the Keyblades. thats all there is to it. He uses his newfound powers to split one keyblade to another, it takes form of the keychain that is put on it. Thats all.

Those are just beta images for drive forms.
And Mickey is the one with the Dark Side. Not Sora.
And yes, Sora has one Keyblade that splits when he duel wields. Why is that so hard for everyone to grasp?

I always figured he obtained Roxas' after you play through Roxas scenario at the beginning of the game.

I don't think it's possible for him to have more than 1 anyways since Nomura said, "There isn’t just one Keyblade from each world, but just as many as there are people with qualified hearts" in an interview, meaning one per qualified person.

I never considered the fact that he could be just splitting the on he had. I guess that makes as much sense as anything else.

Where is everyone getting these novel translations? Like the 'Riku's inexplicable thought' thing?

Oh man, I hope it's not just 'I can't read Japanese, and I just ordered it, lazy'. 'Cause my hopes would then = Crushed.

When they say novels they're most likely talking about either the manga or Kingdom Hearts Ultimania.

If you watch [Deep Dive] carefully, after Roxas throws Oblivion, Kingdom appears to replace it. So
that means Roxas has access to 3 keyblades: Oblivion, Oathkeeper, Kingdom.

Yes it is true that Roxas has the Kingdom Key after tossing Riku the Oblivion in Deep Dive but you totally destroy your own argument when you say:

ASAS and Deep Dive, at the time of thier conception, were CONCEPTS, not canon or fact.

ASAS and Deep Dive were about Roxas meeting Riku, when you watch what happens after the end of Deep Dive in KH2 you see that Roxas does not get the Kingdom Key after he gives Riku the Oblivion he fights and beats him with the Oathkeeper. And in case you want to talk about when Roxas fights in Twilight Town I've prepared for that, the Kingdom Key he uses there is only a digital copy of the real thing, because everytime it appears there's a stream of data instead of the flash of light.

Keyblades split, there are more than one, but each goes to a different wielder. So here's how it is:

Sora= 1 Keyblade but many keychains
Riku= 1 Keyblade (Way to the Dawn)
Kairi=1 Keyblade

No, when they say novels, they mean the novels.

Uh -No.
They are Nomura-approved, and they are canon, and they are official, and they are Japanese.
