So my question is: How can we improve the world in our interactions with people?

NOTE: Religions are all free here. Please no trying to poke holes in anything. If anyone tries to start an argument and poke holes then just ignore it please. I want positive discussion for those who really actually want to make the world better. I don't want the usual pissing contest that I see on here.

Again: So my question is: How can we improve the world in our interactions with people?

By making a difference. Great contributions, I suppose. One such thing would be discovering a cure for cancer, or AIDS. Inventing something that greatly benefits us.

Making people happy, improving their lives, inspiring them to benefit society, at the core.

Might not be a very complex answer, but it's what I think.

Invest financially in the study of psychological trauma such as depression, I’d imagine so.

How to make the world a better place? Simple. Don't be a jackass. I'm sure that would brighten just about anyone's day.

lol Samber, I agree.

What I think it all boils down to is that people just need to be more kind to each other. It's really not that hard to do.

I'm inclined to agree with Pho.

And, AIDS is helping the population problem. In a numbers sense, it isn't bad for the world. =/

^ Although that is true, it's hurting people personally. Like, a family is torn apart by a disease ( not necessarily AIDS ) and that effects another person and their family, and their friends and family, and so on and so on. It's not a very probable situation, although I've seen it happen on more than one occasion with something of that sort.

Anyway,
I try to believe that a person can change the world by speaking their minds and waiting until someone, or someones, listen. Then their ideas get spread, and if they themselves can't bring good ideas ( which can be inventions, cures, music, art, etc. etc. ) to reality, then maybe one of the people they've effected can.

Also, I suppose someone can improve the world by improving the lives of those close to them. If a friend needs someone to hear them out, and you take the time to do just that, hey, you've improved the world. Of course, in a very small scale, but who's to say what that can escalate to.

Or just discover the cure for the common cold. Whateva. =]

Other than all of the other things mentioned, perhaps maintaining a level of equality shared by all living beings.

On a smaller scale, you could always just, y'know, respect other people. Treat them the way you'd like to be treated. A little kindness goes a long way. >.>
