Hear me out, guys...we already have Tangled and Big Hero 6 confirmed. They both use the same exact style of animation. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the only other two Disney movies to use that style are Frozen and Wreck-it Ralph (at least, non-Pixar Disney.)
Now, my only troubles with Wreck-it Ralph is how they would pull that off. I mean, it's literally a movie for cameos. Do you really think Square could get Sonic and Bowser? Okay, okay, it is possible they could just use the original games (Fix-it Felix Jr, Hero's Duty, Sugar Rush.) I feel like that'd take away the charm of the whole feel of it.
Frozen, as much as I hate to say it, is pretty likely. No arguments about it being unlikely. Heck, I've heard rumors that the voice of Goofy hinted at Frozen.
Anyways, that's my thoughts.

Frozen is a lock. It is easily the most popular Disney film of recent years. As for Wreck-It Ralph, even though they wouldn' be able to include many of the cameos from the film, they can still include plenty of other cameos that weren't originally in the film. There are a plethora of non-FF characters that are owned by Square Enix, e.g. Lara Croft.

If there was a Wreck-It Ralph world, they would likely focus on Sugar Rush as the primary location with only the vacant Game Central Station after everybody has gone back to their game and Fix-It Felix locations as other visitable places. They could also just as easily populate the place with SE characters.

As things stand in the world, Frozen is pretty much a shoe-in for KH3. It not happening would be impossible because it is currently one of the most popular animated films of all time. It beat out Spirited Away in Japan. Spirited Away!

True about the Frozen part. I just thought there seemed to be a connection between the two new confirmed worlds, which is a little more evidence.
And idk if they would include cameos. Even if they did, they'd have to be arcade characters to make sense with the story, and I just don't see much of a fitting place for them (although they'd probably have to have the central connecting thingy or whatever, and that'd be pretty boring without a bunch of characters.) Anyways, I can imagine a story for Ralph, where basically the heartless replace the psybugs. They could maybe even break the fourth wall with it a little, having Ralph in another world at first, and having him call it another "game" or something.

I don't mind the lack of cameo appearances as most of the cameos did nothing for me in the first place.

I'll have no problem with sugar rush being the main area, who doesn't want more candy inspired heartless anyway.

I never understood why, when discussing the possibility of Wreck-It Ralph's inclusion in the next game, the debate over the use of cameos is even a necessary discussion. The movie itself had very little to do with any other arcades other than the three original ones tailor-made for the film's story; the appearances were largely relegated to the first third of the movie for the world-building.

A Wreck-It Ralph world can easily be made by either setting it exclusively in Sugar Rush, or to have Sugar Rush, Hero's Duty and Niceland connected via the subway cables. If Game Central Station were to be included, it might be the rare occasion where KH's infamous lack of NPCs might actually facilitate the game story, having the place barren with most of the games closed off for fear of the Cy-Bug/Heartless infestation.

Alright, yeah, that makes a lot of sense actually. Well typed. That may be my favorite theory on it so far.

Oh, why thank you:cool:

I personally have no qualms over the inclusion of Frozen in KHIII, so long as its implemented well into whatever the larger plot is going to be. I'd be more excited for Ralph however, and while there's not really anything substantial saying it won't happen, I can't help but notice the roster so far seems a bit crowded with the most recent Disney films. Then again, all of these films have their own unique look, and Nomura usually says the choice of inclusion comes down to the potential for level design--it's the reason Tarzan and Jungle Book weren't in the same game--so I guess all we can do is speculate for the time being.

I wouldn't mind going to Sugar Rush land in a Wreck-it-Ralph world, but man did that place derail the film completely.

Yeah, I feel like there's just gonna be fan-service for Frozen and it's just gonna be the movie plot with a few heartless here or there. Or maybe even another KHII Atlantica.

Honestly, Sugar Rush was the worst part of the movie for me. So yeah, I didn't like over half the movie. Venelope is just such an annoying character, and even with her backstory I just find it so hard to like her.

Why has no one else said or thought this? It was such a good concept with just Ralph going though various games trying to get a "good guy" status, then it just stayed and derailed to 1 place while switching the character arc to an annoying brat. If they had left Sugar Rush after a short time I wouldn't be as critical, but the film just threw out its' main idea of world hopping by staying in 1 place for half the film.

I actually wouldn't mind staying in Sugar Rush in Kingdom Hearts though, since we have 10 other worlds to go to. And it could get very creative with the sweet sugar theme. Candy based heartless to fight and chocolate waterfalls to explore. Basically Candyland.

Not to mention the prospect of Cy-Bug King Candy as a final boss.

I think it'll be fine in its first appearance. It's when it reappears in KH4 or whatever that it might end up fanservice just like Halloween Town.

it is a personal preference of mine for WIR over frozen because the movie is just so fresh, fun and enjoyable but i think with three modern worlds (no way they're gonna pass up frozen) already, i dont want the game to become overstuffed. hell, they invented a special graphics shading engine for every world to look slightly different and match the feel of the films yet what's the point if they all use the same art style?

They wouldn't even need to include the central station. Sora could directly access Heroes Duty, Sugar Rush, and Fix it Felix through arcade machines in an arcade.
