what is the best way to defeat captain hook in vens story and braig in terras story

for hook the best action is guard and counter.
as for braig its more or less hit and run, he's very vunerable when he's stand in the air to shoot when he's like that i get under him and attack.

knock him in the water
counter
and vanish helps against bosses there cant see where you are so they strike aimlessly
if you have salvation already it does major damage and replenishes your hp at the same time
