If you watch the marluaxia battle on youtube, right at the end where who ever is playing gets owned, is it me or is goofy using a massive book for a weapon lol???

Yes, if you defeat enough Wizard heartless eventually one drops one of their Spellbooks which Goofy can use as a Shield Weapon
If you defeat enough Shamans, they drop a Staff for Donald to use
There are also certain Nobody that drop their weapons for Donald/Goofy to use
