Gummi Mission

Anyone ever beat the level 3 mission for assault of the dreadnaught? I think the boss of it is way too hard. Any ideas of ships/weapons/abilities that work on it? Even the invincable peak ship with auto life and 3 auto regens eventually fell to it's awesome might, around the third stage when you "kill" it twice and it fires explosions everywhere.

very interesting site. Gonna try out that doughnut ship idea see if it works.

Thanks alot, the ship design on that site helped me kill that boss easilly. I woulda never thought of the whole, power up weapons by having 10 cockpits thing.
