I now have a reason to pick up my PsP once again.

I have a feeling that we have to read the manga to see how the gameplay will work out.

But since there havn't been any recent chapters. We're clueless :<

Re: .hack//Link announced for the PSP

Awww damnit, now I gotta buy a PSP?! I've been trying to read the manga of LINKS, but they only translated 4 chapters.

I thought G.U. was a good step combat wise. But like you said Silh, those repetitive, long, and boring dungeons threw me off.

"Hey in order to advance the plot, we have to go into a dungeon!!!"

"Well how long is the dungeon?"

"About 6 floors!!! Lets go!!"

"......Damnit."

Re: .hack//Link announced for the PSP

Well from reading the manga so far, I would say yes. LINKS takes place about 10 years after .Hack//SIGN and three years after .Hack//G.U. Also I would recommend watching .Hack G.U.//TRILOGY. They show a lot of old characters from both series.

Re: .hack//Link announced for the PSP

Well actually I'm just assuming right now lol. You didn't really have to play the first four .hack games to play the G.U. series. Nor do you have to watch the animes. It just gives you a better understanding of whats going on if you did tho.

Just a heads up. I failed to spot this piece of bad news within the newsprint.

Sadly this is the end of .hack.

Re: .hack//Link announced for the PSP

I really love the .hack series and can't wait until this game comes out so I can get it.

Hmmm I see alot of old characters in the magazine scans, I wonder if you'll meet up with them or if any of them will be playable?

Re: .hack//Link announced for the PSP

The end of .hack without actually making it an MMO!! Son of *****!

I think they did actually.

Anyway, I enjoy the anime and have always wanted to get into the games, but the repetition never seemed to redeem the fact that I had to get four or so games for the same story. It seemed too expensive when it first came out and by now I just don't really care.
