Armada Rank: She’s a part of a special division group called “Watchers”; she is also used to gather intelligence on the Armada’s enemies.
Appearance: 5’10”. Melody has long, curly blond hair that falls to mid-back and inquisitive magenta color eyes surrounded by dark lashes. Fair skinned and curvy, Melody wears a black tube top shirt that exposes her stomach; which she wears under a dark purple sleeveless shirt half cropped jacket. There is a lighter colored purple armband that she wears on her upper left arm. She wears dark purple shorts, which leaves quite a bit of leg; between the skin up top, in the middle and below; Melody uses it as a battle tactic. *trust me, that’s all it is, she hates showing so much skin* Her shoes are high heeled black boots, and she wears elbow length, lace up black gloves. She doesn’t wear much jewelry, the only things she wears is medium sized silver hoops and a black choker that has a turquoise teardrop pendent.

Personality and Traits: Oh, where to begin? Cold and calculating, her years of training in the Armada has left Melody with a good control over her emotions. She can be pretty bitchy, not caring if she makes someone mad; and she can be quite the flirt at times, which is usually done to either get information or to make someone jealousy. Point is, if she's flirting with you, it's probably to fulfill some sort of agenda that she has. She doesn't really let her emotions control her and she's definitely not what some people would call friendly; but that doesn't mean that she doesn't care about her family. She can have a gentle and caring side, but it's something that she keeps closely guarded and usually reserves it for her "family", or in other words her fellow Watchers. Melody does has an insecure side, and if her gentle and caring side is rarely seen; her insecure side being seen is like a snowball's chance in Hell.
Character Background: Melody had a rough childhood, forced onto the streets by her father; she wandered from sector to sector; stealing whatever she needed to make it through the winter. It wasn't she was about nineteen (for harpy years) that Samson found her and brought her into their ranks; at first not giving her any mission, just a safe place to live until she was older. It was during this time period that she had started to befriend Zack (it was the near the end of his state), only for the older half-ling to leave them after a certain incident. While she was disappointed for a few months, even a couple of years; Melody didn't let it bother her too much.
Then again, when you've got someone who could be your twin helping you terrorize two people you consider siblings? Yeah, it helps to chase away the blues.
It was a couple of years after that she started her training, both as a Watcher and a spy for the Armada. As the years rolled by Melody climbed through the ranks; gaining more and more respect with each success. It was only a week before the story began that was Melody was offered a promotion, which she turned down saying that she was fine with being a lower ranking spy. As of now, she's caught wind of some rumors involving the Black King and someone called the "Hellion", and both of the titles have her interest.
Weapons and Abilities:
Weapons:
Whip: Melody wields a four foot long chain whip, but what's not really thought about is that it's that is it in it's sealed form. When released, Melody can make it where the whip is as long as she wants it to be, even being able to surround herself with it. She can even cause it to glow with energy by channeling her magic into it; giving it an extra kick. *like in the picture for her harpy form*
Tanto: A plain steel blade that's about thirty-six inches long; there is the etched design of a dragon near the hilt of the blade; with the kanji for "dragon flower" written right about it. Melody puts it into a black sheath that is decorated with the illusion of fall leaves along with the faintest hint of vines along it; there is a red strip of cloth she has tied onto the sheath. The handle in contrast is an ivory and silver color wrapped in red, there are small diamond pieces that reveal the silver part of the handle.
Abilities:
Dark Waters: This technique can only be used at night or in darkened areas; by focusing her energy into the water, Melody can cause it to leave the ground and attack her opponent, dragging with it anything that it had been hiding in its darkened depths. *this skill hasn't been fully explored or mastered yet*
Blood Song: By singing or chanting softly, Melody is able to manipulate the blood that has been spilled and can use it to either heal (by retreating back into its owner's body) or she can use it as a defensive mechanism to shield her from attacks. The skill works best when it's her blood that has been spilled. Side Effect: It is draining, and it also makes it where Melody bruises really easy; but she counters it by taking an iron supplement.
Water Song: By singing softly, Melody can manipulate the water around her and use it to form a shield; the chant also doubles to boost her water based attacks until she either doesn't need to boost anymore or her opponent is able to get her to stagger.
Waterfall: A skill that she doesn't use often, considering that she needs to have some sort of structure to get the effect. This technique causes looks much like the natural state of things, the water tumbles over the structure and can heal her allies with they get put into it; or it can hurt her enemies if she pushes them into it.
Bloody Howling: Probably her second strongest attack, Melody can manipulate the blood around her and craft it into a pack of wolves; which then either fights for her or defends her from attacks that are sent her way. The size of the pack varies based on how much blood has been spilled that she has to work with; there is also the negative side effect, besides the thing about it leaving her anemic; Melody can get hurt if someone attacks one of the wolves that she has created through this technique.
Solis Magnus Release:
Tsunami: By focusing her attention on it, Melody can cause all of the water surrounding her to recede; before it comes rushing back toward her and her opponent; much like the natural occurrence in real life; so because of that the waves are far larger than normal ones. While not fully immune to its effects, Melody won't get swept away in the rush of the current unlike those that are caught in the effects. *controlled by her emotions and it takes a lot of energy and concentration, so she tries not to use it too often or lose control of her emotions*
Character Origin: In an old Kingdom Hearts rp called Melodies of Life, and in there she was Demyx’s daughter and, as a side effect of that, her heart was damaged to the point where she had to wear special bracelets to suppress her harpy-like features.
Character Special Trait: Surprisingly enough, she wears a set of gold and silver bangle bracelets (two of each) over her gloves; which does earn her some weird looks; but Melody doesn't care. In her opinion it's better to get weird looks than to reveal what she is since the bracelets have a spell on them to suppress her harpy side.
