A new age is upon us, an age free from stupid theories, and all will know that one thread gave it's last...dieing...breath to defend it.



so anyways, i do not think that the old man is xehanort, i beleive that he is the previous leader of the heartless.

In this world where all existence is disassembled, I barely keep myself intact
through thinking and writing alone.

Even with time, this world has no meaning.
Here, eternity and an instant are the same.

I must hurry.
They have undoubtedly already begun their activity.

The key to unravelling the mystery is the "Heartless".
The six betrayers conducted the research which brought forth these accursed
shadows.

They didn't just create "pure-blood" Heartless from the human heart, they used
them to artificially synthesize Heartless.
It seems that they have given these artificial Heartless a mark and called them
"emblems".

But whether pure-blood Heartless or Emblem, Heartless without a heart move
following an instinctve desire.
They simply seek out hearts and gather.
With a human-like opponent, all they do is they easily remove the heart and take
it into themselves, creating more companions. They do not listen to the orders
of humans.

But, what about the orders of stronger Heartless?

If, for example, that man discarded his soul and body to become a Heartless,
could he not lead the naturally unleaderlike Heartless?

Furthermore, does he intend to take advantage of the Heartless' instinct?
If the Heartless, who seek out hearts, are aiming for a bigger, stronger heart,
the final objective is clear.
In this world, the greatest heart is..."the heart of the world".

Everything is just a hypothesis, but that he is using the Heartless to find the
path to the heart of the world is certain.

the ansem we knew is kh1 was a "stronger heartless" and i believe the same can be said of the old man. the outfit riku once donned is probably the outfit of a body harboring a stronger heartless.



this is where my theory becomes more groundless, but maybe the old man was able to either be strong enough to have the possessed body and his own form out at the same time. or maybe the old man was able to...ahem, possess his own nobody...or something of that nature.

If i remember correctly, riku was possesed because he had the ability to be a keyblade bearer, and while he lost the keyblade, he was sought by ansem (of kh1) because he thought that he could help riku get the keyblade back. maybe the old man was more lucky, and his..."host"...was able to keep his keyblade. everything is just a hypothesis as of now, but is is clear that the old man has some connection to the heartless.

people's hearts. Further study may unravel both their motivations and
the mysteries shrouding the heart. As a start, I have built a device
that artificially creates Heartless.
By recreating the conditions that spawn the Heartless naturally, I
should be able to produce them artificially. This device is the
culmination of all my research thus far. The machine's test run
successfully created a Heartless. This may be a step toward creating a
heart from nothing.
The artificially and naturally created Heartless showed nearly
identical traits. But the two types remain distinct for the purpose of
the experiment. So, I will mark the ones that are created artificially.

as you can see, they have nearly the same outfit, except ansem has the "emblem" of the false heartless. perhaps the old man was the leader of the heartless, but only of pure-blooded heartless.



sandcastle brought up a point that i didn't notice, the old man came to the..crossroads place to get to the kingdom hearts moon in the sky, like a heartless would do.

But so far we have no proof the old man has any connection to the heartless. He wears the same as Ansem in KH1 yet he has no heartless symbol and shows no signs of being or any connection with the heartless.

How do you figure? He said it world focus on Xehanort the main villain of the KH series. You think they are going to make a game about the old guy's life as he became evil?

The old guy is not Xehanort, at least not the one we saw in a KH2 cutscene. We know what he looks like before he becaem a heartless/Nobody

exactly, i was saying that the old guy is a lord of the heartless before xehanort.

they have the same outfit, but ansem has the heartless "emblem" which is the symbol for artificial heartless.

The way he looks a lot like the villain in KH1 and how he's sort of commanding his Heartless counterpart, if that's what it is. Also, how he sought the heart in the sky makes me think he was a leader of the Heartless.

Don't you think he was a Master Heartless?
