Hearts Oblivion - A KH RP

( To those of you who have roleplayed with me before, this is just a re-take of Past Stories. I've been very bored lately and my creativity skills are just horrid this month. )

This RP takes place 10 years before Sora had locked the final door to Kingdom Hearts and sealed off all the worlds (so obviously, you can't be him or anyone else from Destiny Islands.) Many of the worlds have been taken by the Darkness and most inhabitants have given up hope. A strange occurance happened during that time, the skies in Hollow Bastion grow cold and a crimson miasma flows from the gates into the still constructed city. Cast away, a light soars off into the skies in speeds far greater then a gummi ship, the figure inside of it landing somewhere rather far. (Aka: Traverse Town) Now 2 years after that, the heartless have been sweeping away even more worlds as if searching for something. Their attempts to swallow hearts have doubled over, and thier power growing eerily fast.

A force of light has thwarted the darkness, appearing almost out of now-where; a strange occurance indeed. A chosen few wield the Keyblades of Light, Twilight, and Darkness. Though the ones which hold the weapons of Twilight and Darkness seem less to be trusted by the world's inhabitants. Their mission is to find a way to seal the doors off, but also protect whatever the heartless want to find; and it doesn't seem to be just hearts. ( The Answer: The other experiments that Ansem had used in his work to discover the powers of the darkness. BUT the characters DO NOT know this!! )​

Bio: Only retaining half a heart this young girl seeks answers to her past that she cannot remember, and a home that she cannot return to. Strange at first glance, the wing protruding out of her back was the effect the darkness had put on her. At times she can summon powers that were virtually unknown to her in the past, but there are slim chances that they can go out of control; basically destroying her if they get out of hand too much. Written in Ansems report, #8 to be most specific, Ansem explains that he had done experimentations using the darkness to create artificial heartless with a machine. He used a living sample in one of those experiments, a small human girl; abandoned in the world at birth. She was used as a test subject, yet the light in her child state was too strong for the darkness to completly take over. Ansem had thrown her away like trash after that, displeased with the results and himself for it. Reina was sent off into Traverse town, no memory of Hollow Bastion or Ansem for that matter; he had deliberatly erased her past so she wouldn't find out the power that lies in her. Yet Darkness has a way with people, once seeped into the heart it grows and roots there like a weed; slowly consuming whatever it possesess in it's grip.

Weapon: A dual-bladed pole with retractalbe and extandable blades.
Alignment: Light
Appearance: Kane has long, sky-blue hair that just goes 3 or 4 inches below his shoulder and ending in a point. He has soft, calm, beautiful, soothing, turquoise eyes with regular, human ears and short, thin, sharp, black fingernails, which are kind of, sort of like claws. Kane wears a brown, leather hat with a sky-blue ribbon tied around it. He also has a sky-blue bandana tied to his neck with white cowboy designs embroidered in the soft fabric. He also wears a brown, leather cowboy vest with stitchings. Underneath his vest is a blue, formal-looking T-shirt with black cowboy designs around the edges of the vest. He also wears loose-fitting, casual, cowboy jeans. Kane also wears brown, hard leather cowboy boots with more white cowboy designs running around them and with shiny, silver, bird-shaped spurs attached to the lower back part of the boots. He stands 6 feet tall.
Theme Song: I don't really know of one that would suit him.

Bio: Kane is a true cowboy. Kane is the best fighter around where he comes from with his dual-bladed pole, and has become much of a celebrity, as he is adored by many people and worlds. He is also a lady's man through and through, and a lot of the girls fall in love with his charming, sweet, likable nature, and good looks. Everbody who meets him likes him instantly, as he has a great personality and will often comfort someone and offer his shoulder for someone to lean on if they are in need of someone's comforting presence. His smile can make a rainy day seem sunny, and his laugh can bring joy to anybody's heart. Kane rides his great stallion, Glendala, who is one of his very close friends. Glendala is pretty stubborn and rude though, and she doesn't like meetng new people. Kane has a distinct Western accent, to accompany his cowboy pride and personality
Kane is a truly likable individual, and it's not hard to see why.

Bio: He was born in a small village less than two miles from hollow Bastion. He was seventeen when the light had come. He was an aid to Ansem, before he went mad of course. When his master had become encompassed in his research, Velkion began to drift further away from him. He is now living in a secret chamber in the castle.(do we have our keyblades yet?)

Bio: Magus was once called Janus Zeal. His sister was Schala, and his mother was Queen Zeal. When Lavos appeared in the Ocean Palace, Janus was thrown into the future, where he became a fearsome mage, also taking the name Magus. After being defeated in his castle, Magus was warped to the Kingdom of Zeal, and acted as a prophet, using his knowledge of the era. When Lavos appeared in the Ocean Palace, Magus tried to kill him, but failed to succeed in exacting his revenge. Instead, he was beaten, and couldn't save his sister Schala. He had later persuaded Belthasar, the Guru of Reason, to build him a ship to search beyond the boundries of his world.

Appearance: Kai stands at about 5'4" with a lithe body build. She has somewhat short silvery-white layered hair, the shorter parts coming to her chin and the longer parts in back falling down a few inches past her shoulders. Her eyes are a strange shade of grayish purple that fades into a lighter shade, almost white, around the pupils. On the right side of her neck, just below her chin, are the numbers '00' printed in black. She dresses in a variety of styles and colors, although she prefers more muted hues along with her favorite color: white. She is most commonly seen wearing a form-fitting blue-gray tank top under a sleeveless white hoodie that goes halfway down to her knees and has the letters 'N3K0' printed across the upper left in navy. She likes to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement so she almost always has on a pair of jeans, most commonly black with a variety of pockets and zippers and such. She wears a simple, worn pair of white sneakers with a couple blue straps going over the laces and is quite stubborn when people tell her to just buy a new pair. Two soft, white wristbands encircle her upper left arm, her special touch to try and stay 'away from the norm' despite her unconscious need to fit in with the crowd. A golden heart key necklace hangs from a matching golden chain down to just below her collarbone; a treasured gift from her best friend who'd passed away. She keeps a plain pair of daggers sheathed in her jacket pocket, a habit after her training in the lab.

Bio: Not much is known about Kai, even to herself. Her memory is quite fragmented, the result of a major event in her life that caused her to lose nearly everything she had including her closest friend, Hotaru. Of the few memories she does retain, she knows that she was at one time in a lab, being experimented on. That was also the origin of her '00' tattoo, which apparently was her subject number at that time. Aside from that, she's been able to piece together a few things to conclude that her home world had been very technologically advanced but had managed to balance it in a way that there were still many forests and greens.
It was on the night that the two moons of Kai's world were a strange shade of red and orange that the heartless appeared and took over. Frightened by these new beings, she tried desperately to fight back but found it futile against the numerous shadows and so succumbed herself to the darkness. She blacked out for a while and was greeted in her sleep by a deep, unrecognizable voice: "Cast away, unwanted by darkness. Yet pushed aside and rejected by light. An unknown path lies before you. But fear not as there will be four more to walk beside you."
Waking up a few moments after, Kai found herself in what seemed to be the alley of a city: Traverse Town. She moved to stretch a bit and get up to explore a bit when she noticed that something had been placed into her left hand (as Kai is left-handed). A key? But it seemed far too large for any keyhole...

Rain. It was the only thing that didn't happen usually in Traverse Town, but for some reason tonight, it did. The clouds that formed above the world were dark, almost ominating with a strange feeling to them. Most of the people in that town were either asleep or indoors, waiting out the rain. The sound of the water meeting with the cobblestone floor in the first District was the only thing Reina heard. She stood outside, admiring the silence the area had to offer; knowing that when it rained in Traverse Town.. something either really good .. or really bad would happen. She appeared on that world when it was raining, she was slightly younger and one of the inhabitants that owned the Hotel in the 2nd District had taken her in. But now, since most of the people in Traverse Town were gone thanks to the heartless, it's been really tough for the girl.

Turning her attention to the World's exit, she breathed out a sigh of exhaustion. Currently she stood in the rain, soaked to the bone, hair dripping with the sky's 'tears'. Reina's gummi ship was still being repaired from the last time she came home by Cid, whom she had known for the past couple of years. He seemed nice enough and rarely charged her for things after her 'parents' disapeared. In her left hand was a choker, one that used to be around her neck until she had removed it; a single silver key dangled from the black strap as water dripped off the surface.

Magus parked his ship, "The Avenged," at the entrance to the waystation called Traverse Town. If there was anywere he could get info on his sister's whereabouts, it would be here. He pushed open the large double doors, like the doors of his old castle, and walked into town.

'There aren't many people here,' he thought. 'something dark has hold of this bright place...' Magus continued on into the Town to find anyone who could possibly help.

"Huhuhu..huhuh whew! I think I lost them. Damn! Spoke too soon." Velkion was running through the halls of Hollow Bastion. He was being followed by a large band of wyverns and wizards. He didn't know how to fight the heartless. He had a sword, but it never damaged them. So everytime they came around he had no choice but to run. suddenly he ran into a corner. This surprised him becuase he knew this place inside and out! Though he may have just lost his head. But what to do now? they were closing in on him, and fast!

Kai looked down at the large key-like weapon in her hand. A pale blue, seven-pointed star outline formed the teeth to the key and the silver body was a rather flat piece of metal. The top had an elegant curving piece that linked to a chain placed behind the key's 'blade.' The chain itself was a darker silver and went down to what Kai assumed to be the weapon's hilt. It was mostly the same color as the chain except for the grip, which was silver like the body. The guard was actually a rather large upside-down heart, also pale blue like the star. A sense of familiarity struck her and she reached into her jacket to pull out her heart key necklace. The pendant... It looked so similar to the key.

Kai was quickly jerked out of her thoughts when she felt a few raindrops fall upon her head. Looking up to see where it had come from, the rain suddenly increased to a full out pour. She sat there for a moment, enjoying the cool wetness hit her face before she realized that wasn't what she should be doing. Cursing inwardly to herself, she grabbed her newfound keyblade and began to look around for some sort of shelter. But of course, she'd never been to this place before and felt it would be akward to just walk into any building.

She finally settled under a small overhang at the window of a small, closed shop. She mindlessly tried to brush off a bit of the wetness before gazing out at the rainy scene. "Well, I guess it's better than being stuck indoors back home," Kai muttered to herself. A smirk appeared on her face before she sat down against the shop wall, hugging her knees and watching the rain.

Magus walked through another set of double doors labeled "Second District," completely unfazed by the rain. Suddenly a black, insect-like creature appeared at his feet.

"And what manner of creature is this?" He muttered and pulled out his favorite weapon, the Doomgiver Scythe. "Can you stand up to the powers of Shadow Magic?" He began to cast his weakest Shadow spell, Dark Bomb.

OOC: I was about to make my way there, I just decided to try and explain how he got there, if thats all right?

IC: He started getting desperate, he was cornered. suddenly his hands started shaking and two large blades materialized. Before he got a chance to check them out, his was flung into what seemed to be a rift portal. He felt like he was being pulled at on all sides. He finally settled in an unknown territory. He was lying on a cobblestone street in front of a giant oaken door, in the rain.

In silence the teenager reached up, pulling the black choker around her neck and clipping the ends together to meet. "...?" She suddenly blinked, feeling a strange yet familiar power over to the side of the District. Sapphire eyes glanced from side to side, trying to find the source of the aura. Her nose twitched lightly, the smell of darkness and light was twisted; just like her own. 'Hm.. that's interesting.' Reina thought to herself and slowly began her way around the termina, following the presence of the new found power. It was expected that she would have the ability to sense and even to smell the darkness, for she herself was an experiement of the dark; though she only had fragmeneted memories of it.

Rivets ran down the girl's face, ending at her chin and dripping to the floor to join it's fallen brethren. Eyes forward, she planned to find this source; even though others seemed to be appearing out of knowhere. 'Traverse Town is becoming popular.. that's not a good thing.' Reina thought to herself, a long drag of air escaping her lungs in a sigh.

Kai let out a wide yawn and rubbed her eye. 'So bored so bored so bored,' she thought to herself. 'When will this rain end? I only just got here and the sky won't even let me look around a bit before it starts raining.'

"You're so mean," she muttered, now switching to talking to herself aloud. "But... I wonder..." Crawling out a bit so that she could see the sky, she gazed up into the endlessly gray clouds. "Are you the same sky I saw at home? Maybe you're different too? Maybe that's why you don't like me either..."

Kai settled back into her position against the wall and took another look at her Keyblade. "To think that you came to me in all that Chaos. You're rather pretty you know that? But you must have a name right? Care to tell me what it is?"

".... Oh I see. You can be my Faded Dream."

Velkion stood up, quite shaken. He stared flashing his view around, crazedly. He had never seen this place before, and as to how he got here, he still couldn't quite remember. He rembered egtting these swords then,.......Ha! Where did these swords come from? And why do they look so wierd?
