Yep, the cat is referring to the flowers. Head to each of the four flowers in there, examine to summon the boss heartless thing, a really pink one.

Just so you don't ask later, when you defeat all four, the cat will tell you how to find the last one, which involves going to the trial place and hitting the cage down, to summon the last heartless.
