HELP can you tell me if my ps2 is region locked or not? it says made in japan but i dont know if my ps2 is region locked or not and if it ic can i UNlock it?

4 region locked u mean can't play copies? beacuse i have an amerian ps2 and it plays copies.

Copies are different than imports. There is specific coding and hardware differences that prevent you from playing Japanese games on an American PS2. The console may have been made in Japan--however, that does not necessarily mean it is a Japanese PS2.
