First of all, this is NOT a Heroes RP. This is an old RP I did with a friend of mine a very long time ago, so consider it as a retry since we've both been itching to do this for a while. There are no limits to the powers this time, but keep the godmodding and powerplaying rules in mind.
Name
Faith Crest
Alias
Crimson
Age
19
Gender
Female
Role
Hero
Power(s)
Faith's senses of hearing, seeing, touch, smell and taste are slightly more heightened than that of an ordinary human. As well as this, her wounds can heal quicker and is immune to any form of disease that exists. However, Faith is still prone to getting mortally wounded and killed. Because of the parents she once had, additional abilities come in the form of telepathy, telekinesis and flight. These are her primary powers that enable her to fight crime. However, her telepathy is the most complicated power of all - she is prone to feeling the emotions of others upon first touch, can accidentally delve into their memories and can even (unintentionally) convince herself that she is that exact person. Despite her overwhelming abilities, Faith considers them as a curse.
Nationality
English
Personality
At a first glance, people would assume that Faith was a quiet person that got on with her life. However, they would be wrong since she is very outgoing, kind, honest and a loyal friend. On the other hand, she tends not to talk about herself and often finds herself diverting the topic elsewhere. This only shows that there is something she is hiding from everyone else and creates an enigmatic image. She acts as normal as she can, considering she is much, much different than any other ordinary human being. Faith's past is also a reason why she tends not to let people get too close to her. People have died because of knowing who she was.
Costume
She wears this
costume, which consists of a red and black leather top, a small black face mask that partly conceals the face, red strapped bands on each arm, black leather pants and black shoes.

Bio
Faith was born in England almost twenty years ago to a Zildaanian (alien) named Vance and a mortal, Catherine Crest. Prior to this, love between Zildaanians and humans was forbidden, so Vance was trapped within a crystal and suspended in animation. Unfortunately, Catherine was left carrying his child. She ran from Zildaanian forces back home to Earth, where she found peace and solitude. But the circumstances that surrounded Faith's birth were unclear, they still are now. Patricia Musso, the child's godmother, was given full custody when Catherine was presumed dead, several weeks after her disappearance. It was from here on that Catherine did not appear on the face of the earth again for nineteen years. Patricia found Faith when their hometown of Marwick was struck down by comets - a possible retaliation from the Zildaanian royalty. She and her husband, Robert, took Faith in as their own and raised her to be a good person.
However, Patricia knew that she was special ... different. It was thanks to a rich tycoon, Samuel Newman, that she was able to adopt Faith in the return that she would keep reporting to him of their progress. When the adoption was formally official, she discovered a letter inside that revealed who Faith's mother was. Catherine was actually Patricia's best friend and it was her desire that she take care of Faith if anything happened to her. So she decided to keep that promise, but was fully aware that she was no ordinary child. When Faith reached the age of seven, she had a sudden power surge. This power surge would mark the beginning of her ascension. Catherine described in her letter that "in the first twenty-one years, Zildaanians have power surges that will lead to their ascension. This will happen three times - once, at the age of seven, then at fourteen and finally, at twenty-one." However, Patricia was lucky enough that Robert was not present at the time of Faith's first power surge. And even Faith herself was unable to recall the day that she had it.
Another seven years passed and Faith became fully aware of her abilities.
She was thrown into the water one year by a car that headed in her direction. Unharmed and submerged in water, Faith fought to free the passenger trapped inside, who happened to Samuel's son, Lucas Newman. The two struck up a friendship after this since he was in her debt. Because of her lucky escape from the accident, Faith began to question everything she knew for the first time. It was on that night that Patricia revealed the letter that Catherine left her many years ago and showed it to Faith. After realising the impact that her powers would have on her life, she decided to learn how to control and keep them a secret from the entire world. It was because of this happening that Faith discovered she was not fully human; she was in fact half Zildaanian, an alien race that was thought to have disappeared or be extinct. But because of her humanity, Faith remains to appear human to anyone.
In the next five years, many things happened.
Firstly, she was being constantly tracked down by a mysterious group named Blackstone. Blackstone was able to kidnap Faith and took her to their facility to conduct tests on her. When she came around from her unconsciousness, all hell let loose when she allowed herself to lose control of her powers. Faith attacked anyone that dared to hurt her and managed to escape. But it was revealed several months later that Blackstone had in fact had a clone of Faith; a teenage boy named Gabriel, the appearance of an angel, but the motives of a devil. Together with Blackstone, Faith hunted Gabriel down to stop him from hurting those who knew her secret, namely her mother and her best friend, Raven. Gabriel kidnapped Raven in order to lure Faith forward. He released Raven when Faith took the bait, but their powers were too evened out for an actual outcome from the battle. Finally, Faith overwhelmed him with things he did not have - family, friends and a heart. Feeling guilty for his actions, Gabriel ran away and insisted he was going to try to become a better person.
After the Gabriel saga was over, another problem occurred. Whilst being held hostage, Raven had come into a contact with a new, deadly virus. Faith was the only one who could get close enough because she later learned that her immune system could repel any form of invasion. She was torn apart over how she could save her friend. However, an older version of Lucas arrived and took her to the future. Faith saw that the future was dead indeed; ninety percent of the population had been wiped out because of the dubbed "Raven Virus" and Raven herself was the only one contracted with it standing alive since she started spreading it. It was here that Faith would learn of her future alias when she met her future self. However, this future self called herself Crimson (she had changed her name after being unable to stop Raven from taking over the world; therefore, Faith's old self had died that day) and insisted that killing Raven would be the only way to save the world. Faith refused at first, knowing that there was another way to save her friend. However, after confronting the future Raven, she came to realise that killing her was the only way. And when she escaped, it was here she discovered her unusual ability of flight.
Faith returned to the present with future Lucas' help. She ignored the pleas for Patricia to reconsider another way of saving the world (this was after Faith told her what she saw) and proceeded to Raven's room. Instead of killing her, Faith cured her. She injected her blood, which cured the virus ... but at a cost. Raven now had Faith's blood and this was what caused her to possess superhuman intelligence. The two went separate ways; Raven fled to Japan out of fear and Faith remained in Marwick. Shortly after the Raven Virus had been eliminated, Samuel cornered Faith and Patricia on top of a building. He called Patricia a traitor and knew what Faith was. His intended target was Faith. However, it was Patricia who took the fall when he shot her. Heartbroken, Faith flew her to the nearest hospital in a bid to save her life. But before they could fly, she died tragically in her arms. Now a broken young woman, Faith swore vengeance on Samuel Newman and expressed this desire to her father, Robert. She told him her secret and what Patricia had been fighting for all these years.
Six months after Patricia's death, Faith began to see her relentless ghost and believed that she was the one to be blamed for what happened. Because of what had occurred on Earth, the last remaining Zildaanians took note of Faith and what she was. It was on Earth that they waged a personal war against her, condemning her as a "half-breed" and "abomination" and that she must be destroyed if Zildaan was to move from its tragedies in the past. Along with Robert, Caleb Newman (the good brother of Lucas and Raven's boyfriend), Bryan Paine (Faith's new boyfriend) and Raven (who had returned from Japan), they fought off the Zildaanian War that was only (luckily) brought upon Marwick. Because of the war, Faith discovered she had an uncle, Jaredanova (Jared for short) and he told her more about her heritage, which also included the true story about her parents and her birth. Jared remained on Earth to be close to his niece.
There was a cult on Zildaan that knew of Faith and decided to use her as a weapon. After what happened in Marwick, Faith was visited by one of them. He claimed to be a "friend" and he would tell her the "truth". But before she was able to read his mind, he had his palm on her head and wiped out all of her memories. In her absence, Raven took the lead in finding her. The Cult of Yagaroto took Faith back to Zildaan, which was revealed to have been hidden in the universe after Faith's birth. They attempted to reprogramme her into the ultimate warrior that would surely crush Earth and bring balance to the galaxy once more. However, it was Lucas who stopped them and restored Faith's memories. He returned her to Earth and cast himself away, unable to go forward because of his mistakes in the past (he was actually Faith's cousin, a Zildaanian now trapped in the body of a human and attacked her when he discovered the truth). Faith awoke and Jared told her that he had received a Zildaanian message that was not to be taken lightly.
The message was encrypted in another language, so it took Faith and Jared a while to decipher it. Raven (who had disappeared again) returned to Marwick and informed them that it was in Latin, thus, revealing her ability in the open. It referred to a prophecy that the Avenger and the Defender would join together to stop the Zildaanian threat. Faith was the Avenger and Lucas was the Defender. She hurried to find Lucas, who refused to help her because he preferred to be alone. The threat turned out to be in the form of Lucas' biological father, Daius. When Faith told Lucas that his real father was involved, the two set out to stop Daius from destroying the Earth. When Daius attempted to possess his son into making him believe that Faith should be used as a weapon and tried attacking her, Faith's real father Vance appeared to protect his daughter. Having being released from his crystal after eighteen years, he promised Faith he would explain everything one day. On the other hand, Daius released Lucas and flew up to struggle with Vance.
Referring to the prophecy, Lucas refused to let Faith sacrifice her life to bring balance to the universe. He flew up and shattered the fight between Vance and Daius. The result of the impact was unknown. Vance, Daius and Lucas had not been since it happened. To ensure that she would not bring anymore trouble, Faith left Marwick for a new life in Silver City. It was here that she discovered that the balance of good and evil was not scaled out evenly. In rememberance of the future she once saw, Faith decided to take the risk and emerge as the heroine, Crimson. Aside from fighting for justice, she has also landed herself a job at the Blackstone Industries headquarters that now dealt with supernatural and superhuman threats. Because of moving from Marwick to Silver City, she has cut herself off from everything and finds that getting close to someone will prove difficult because of what has happened in the past five years.
