This must be one of the most interestingly asked questions, of how one should create a platform like Wikipedia, catering to people worldwide. In most obviousness, no one can compete with Wikipedia overnight. If I had to create something similar, I would have to consider hiring Wikipedia page writers, creators, and editors and everything suitable. But what other ways should one consider adapting when thinking of creating or even coming up with ideas on creating a platform suitable to Wikipedia? I feel like it’s a great idea to consider or just look into for the sole knowledge of things. What are your thoughts on this?

There are more than 50+ Wikipedia alternatives for those who study online and search for web resources and references. Wikipedia is a type of an open source writing platform like Wikispaces for instructors who use essay writer notes, annotated bibliographies, topic guides, etc.

Wikipedia is not always a reliable source. Here's a short list of alternatives that everyone can use for free:

  • Infogalactic
  • Scholarpedia
  • Encyclopedia Britannica Online
  • Infoplease
  • Conservapedia
  • Wolfram Library Archive
  • Bibliomania
