These are some sad times for NA/Eu phones then =/
I thought there would be a ton of phones that would be able to support it by now.
Guess I'll get an iPod Touch after all.
It's actually a booming time for US/EU phones phones with all of the smartphones similar to the iPhone coming out. The phones do technically have the hardware to support the game, but Google apparently doesn't see gamin as that big of a deal since they won't make it easy for developers to develop games for Android.

But compared to Japan over here in America, Mobile Gaming is not that all popular compared to Handhelds. So if they want a big income overseas porting it would be smarter. And if it doesn't come on iPhone then you will HAVE to get a plan and fork a couple more hundred dollars cause then you wouldn't have the iPod Touch alternative.

So if it comes on a Mobile Phone overseas it better be to Apple.

It can only come to the iPhone here since it's the only phone that has both the hardware and software protocol to support the game.

But I would hate the touch controls. Coded has the configuration for the use of Buttons. Touch Screen would just seem awkward. Like how would they even make it work?

Have you ever played a game on an iPhone/touch? It's actually quite fun.

They make it work by putting a virtual analog stick and action buttons on the screen. After you get used to not feeling buttons it becomes quite an easy and enjoyable experience. Here's some examples:

YouTube - Assassin's Creed for iPhone
YouTube - Avatar Gameplay for iPhone
YouTube - Hero of Sparta iPhone Game
YouTube - Call of Duty Zombies
YouTube - Sonic the Hedgehog for iPhone and iPod Touch
YouTube - Zenonia for iPhone Preview

Lots more.

Square Enix has also already released a couple of games for the iPhone.

I've actually have played games on the iPhone. I've even played Assassins Creed on it but even with those Buttons on the screen it just feels weird to play. Also sometimes it doesn't work when you touch the screen.

Mine is always responsive, you might've played an earlier version of the game before the developers updated it for bug fixes and what not, or the iPhone you were playing with was messed up. Either way, you'd agree it's at the very least playable right? I'm sure if you had more time with it you'd have gotten used to not feeling physical buttons like a lot of other people. I agree it does feel awkward at first but eventually you get used to it.

Yeah. I guess. But I still don't like the idea. I would get a Touch if it came out on it. I think it is Squares best bet, if Coded comes to NA, to release it on iPhone/iPod Touch if they want it to stay on Mobile Platform. That way people aren't forking over about a 1,000+ to a Phone Company so they can use the Phone to buy Coded, which is released in Episodes making it so you have to have that Phone a long time so you can play the whole thing.

They should just go all out and release it on WiiWare/DSiWare/PSN/LiveArcade/iPhone/iPod Touch.

Just overkill it.

Yeah I could see that happening since Square Enix did the exact same thing with Crystal Defenders; released it on PSN, LiveArcade, WiiWare, and App Store.
