If he does exist, fine. I am not going to scream and shout about it. I could care less. I won't feel any different than what I do now.I guess the feeling would be neutral.

This topic cropped up a while back, I think. Eh.

So, yes. I am hereby ripping off Sol's 'if god didn't exist' thread (ilu).
As it says; how would you feel?

"Neat. So, were dinosaurs really just a bad experiment, or did you just kinda look away for a bit and someone tossed an asteroid at Earth?"

I believe in God, and I like to think myself as a strong believer of my faith, but sometimes I question myself, if only for a second. So I guess I'd be relieved, and continue with what I'm doing.

Not surprised, because I know he exist.

I'm pretty sure disease and death are worldly things, for those who keep on saying how they will ask God why innocent people die, or why he let's bad things happen, he doesn't LET things happen, Earth is pretty much Satan's territory, take it up with him. God only touch's those who let him in to their hearts here on earth, and works through them and prayer.

After recent experiences I have to change my reaction to more of one of relief.

I have many questions and simply knowing whether or not God exists can answer a considerable amount of them.

Is no one seeing how OT God and NT God worked out? He tried to get involved and help his people. So he helped. He killed the evil and helped the Good. He tested the faithful in harsh ways but they got greater reward in the end. But God wasn't stupid. He was able to see what his influence on Earth was doing. Plus the rules were made by man because he gave them that power. (Also a bad idea) It says in the bible the world was getting deeper and deeper into sin. (History also tells us these exact same times where the recorded times of great crime. Learned that in history). Also his people were slowly forgetting him. But he loved us sooo incredibly much he sent his son to die for us. It really all connects. I ask you to read the Bible instead of quoting it. Everything does fit together in the bible and it does in a great enough way that teaches us of past thing's. (I'd also like to point out that alot of stuff people said was fake about the bible that was fake happened or was discovered. *Noah's ark has been found in Africa and a small village near the Red Sea. And there is more.)

Also you keep saying you'd ask God how he can keep letting this bad stuff happen to Earth. You never think God has asked the same thing?

As for what I'd say: God I had faith the whole time. Thank you!

"God, thank you for being a malevolent bastard and letting millions of people suffer when at any time you could have intervened. I thought you were an all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-omniscient guy. Guess what bastard? I will never worship you. Send me to hell to roast for eternity."

just pointing out how there are always the polar opposites, you rarely see something worth talking about

Btw pretty sure there has never been a global flood that covered the entire world

For the fact your an Adult I must say: You are right.

But I would like to say Romans believe that there was a flood (This was before the bible was everywhere). Chinese Folklore speak of a great flood (Before bible). Noah's ark was discovered. (Or what they thought it was. It was the biggest wooden man made bout ever and it was on the highest mountain in Africa. SO with that I do believe in the great flood.

And no disrespect honestly. But How would you know if you weren't there?

Once again as you are my elder I respect you and will stop...now

You know, archaeological findings. Not a biologist but that field would indicate so

You seem to forget there are other religions that believe in their own versions of the Flood

Muslims believe in the story of Noah's Ark, but we believe it was a local, perhaps continental(iffy on this one),flood.

And whadya know, turns out there was.

I personally think it was just a flooding of the Fertile Crescent area where Mesopotamia was. Maybe a little wider range, but there was a Flood, and a guy survived in an Ark.
